"Finally!!!" Katie was happy when she entered the changing room next to Angela the next morning, but before she could change, she felt like she had to throw up again.

"It's getting really annoying. I think I spoiled my stomach. This has been going on since yesterday," she complained when she turned to her best friend, who looked at her with a look that she knew all too well. "Now tell me." she demanded annoyed and took her shoes out of the locker. "Can it be... that you are.. pregnant?" Angela out and scared, Katie turned away from her shoes and looked at her friend. "But... Tim... we have... we spent a night together....." she stuttered to herself. "But that could have been enough." Angela clarified the obvious. "Yes, I know... but I'm just back. I... I can't be pregnant now..." with trembling fingers, Katie closed her shoes and then closed her locker. "We don't even know if you're really pregnant... you know what? I'll get you a test and then you'll come to my place tonight and take this test. Okay??" Angela offered and took her best friend in her arms after she nodded in agreement.

"So first welcome back Officer Winters." Sargent Grey greeted Katie back at the district. Nodding, she thanked briefly, she didn't want a big drama to be made of it, that she was back.

According to Captain Weatherby, the following amended regulations apply with immediate effect: Boots are no longer placed on the lockers, all boots that are still on the lockers are removed and disposed of daily at midnight and noon. Secondly, every policeman is obliged to give every citizen with whom he had contact a business card. If the citizen does not want these, the policeman must write a report and document that the citizen has rejected this business card," Grey explained to his people.

"Sir. With all due respect, that sucks." Angela complained and Katie agreed with a nod. That couldn't be serious. That meant even more paperwork than usual and Katie had done enough paperwork lately. Time to get back on the streets. Or not?

"It's not for us to judge Officer Lopez. The leadership staff believes that the captain's focus on efficiency is what Mid-Wilshire needs now." Grey only continued what the captain probably told him. Speaking of the Captain. Apparently, he didn't get along quite so well at the district because he stumbled a little confused through the door to the conference room.

"Captain? How can I help them?" Sargent Grey asked with playful kindness. "I need a current vehicle list," he demanded, with his full coffee cup in his hand. "Yes, sir. I'm at the Apell right now. I'll take care of it right away, but since they are already here: Would you like to give the day shift something motivating?"

He looked through the round in a derogatory way. "Did you say that with the boots?" "Yes, sir," Grey replied. "Okay. Then.... Uh.... Do it...keep it up," he said only before he disappeared as confused as he had come. The guy was an idiot on two legs.

"All right. Let's get to the last point. The public prosecutor's office has taken a witness into custody and needs help with the guard. Actually, we don't assign rookies such tasks, Officer Nolan. Officer Bishop will agree with me. " Grey then explained the third step and rejected Nolan's voluntary report.

"Forget it. Personal protection is like watching paint when drying," Bishop only replied. "They probably have no luck," Sargent Grey said, played sadly to Nolan.

"I'll do it." Tim volunteered and thus attracted not only Grey's eyes, but also that of his girlfriend, his rookie and his other best friend. "So Nolan and I can finally get closer," he explained and everyone started laughing, almost everyone.

"All right. Bishop then they go with Chen. That's it. And remember that! If they drive their cars back at night, they now have to pass by the workshop because of the exact speedometer reading and an inspection. Nothing to thank," Grey said before he fired everyone.

"Officer Winters!" He asked Katie to stay for a moment. Her friends looked at her questioningly, but she only shrugged her shoulders.

"What's wrong Sarge?" She wanted to know. "Captain Weatherby has requested that you stay on guard today. He fears that you are not ready yet." he explained to her, which made her breathe annoyed. "But Dr. Miles has declared me ready. I'm ready. I can get back on the street," she complained and waved around annoyed. "I know. I know. But I can't stand up to the captain's orders," he defended himself. Nodding, Katie let him stand and let herself fall on her desk chair.

But before she could start doing anything, the whole building began to wobble. Most of them had received little. A few cuts and scratches, bruises.

"Hey, is anyone hurt here?" Sargent Grey asked through the round, and a few answered that they were injured, but they were usually lighter. "The lines are dead," Katie explained after she had tried to contact the emergency services. "Funk was also noticed," said Wade.

"Where is the captain?" Jessica asked the Sargent. "At the doctor's appointment, or already at lunch," he replied annoyed.

"You people! PEOPLE! Listen to it all. We practiced that. First of all, assess the situation. Lennox, Hall. You are looking for injured. If anyone has to go home to check on their family is free. We take care of our people. Come back when you can. That's okay? Since the communication has failed, we will proceed in the good old days. People are in need in this city. We will help them. They protected and also ensure their safety. Understood?" Grey took the lead, as the captain is not present and everyone was in agreement with his command.
