Katie had entrenched herself in the auditorium together with La Fiera, her son and her security guards.

"Who is that? Who is after me?" Sandra now turned to the brown-haired woman in front of her. "I can't say that," the policewoman apologized. "But he is being arrested. There will be a file. I'll get it out. Why don't they give me names?" You could clearly notice that Sandra was worried about her son and if Katie were in this situation, she would certainly want to know the same thing. "I'm afraid they'll do something to him." Katie protected the perpetrator, because La Fiera was not allowed to kill him.

"I thought you had nothing to hide from him La Fiera?" Katie asked the woman after she was asked to walk with her a bit all along the way between the seats so that they were out of her son's ear. "I like you. A strong hermana. But I'm a businesswoman, do you know what I mean?" Sandra praised the young woman. "No narcocorridos are written about business women," Katie refuted. She knew the Spanish language through a year abroad in high school. The people in my country like to tell stories, invent legend. That's why they are far from true." Sandra defended herself when Tim's voice sounded over the policewoman's radio.

"Winters? Exchange of fire. Western staircase. Pursue suspects towards the roof," he told her and she replied that she had understood.

"Finish them, huh... That they are not out there." the drug barone suspected when Katie leaned on one of the chairs exhausted and had to breathe briefly and put a chewing gum in her mouth, as something bumped up again, but she was not prone to heartburn. Recently, she has always been exhausted very quickly. Even after a short chase and even after not so greasy food, she got heartburn.

"I protected her," Katie said and pushed herself off. "No. They protect their criatura. You are pregnant, aren't you? I see something like that. At Diego I also had long heartburn." it came from Sandra and Katie shook her head in confusion. "What not?" She had just given birth to Elliot a few months ago. Well, rather a 3/4 year ago and didn't want to have another child. She was happy as it was. Although she had always wanted her own small family with 2 children, it was absolutely inappropriate, because she wanted to turn to her cases as a detective. And if she were then pregnant, she would have to step back down step by step, like after her accident, after the gunshot wound. But on the other hand, Elliot was not planned either, during his pregnancy it was also an up and down.

"I besk you, hermana." La Fiera tore her back to her thoughts. "We are not sisters," Katie said and looked at the woman in front of her annoyed and angry.

"Do you know why I'm called La Fiera?" The drug baroness asked her. "They got into a shooting with Diego at the time. They grabbed a gun and shot everyone. Probably rather fairy tales than truth," suspects the still confused Katie. "No. This story is the truth. We are tough. Diego and I. When it comes to their child, there is nothing they don't do and nothing they wouldn't become to protect it. You'll see," Sandra said and left Katie alone. She was right, there would be nothing she wouldn't do to know Elliot was safe. And if it is true what Lan Fiera says and she was expecting another child, she would protect it just as she did with Elliot. She had to talk to Tim and create clarity on this matter.

In the meantime, the others had found the shooter. But he was dead. He had jumped.

"The State Department was satisfied with her statement. You can go." Katie told the mother and her son when she heard the others' message. "Muchas Gracias, Detective. Diego likes school. So who knows? Maybe we'll see each other again." Sandra wanted to say goodbye to Katie when her son handed the policewoman her West again. "Don't confuse my professionalism with weakness today. Love for her son does not excuse her crimes. So next time there is something against her, I will arrest her personally." Katie threatened her. "I wouldn't expect anything else, hermana" La Fiera said goodbye with a grin in her face and Katie saw mother and son a few more minutes afterwards.

Just when Tim and Katie wanted to leave the district to pick up Elliot from the daycare and then drive home, Katie discovered Tamara standing at the reception.

"I'm waiting for you at the car," Tim said quickly and gave his girlfriend a short kiss on the lips and left the two alone.

"Listen. I don't trust people who are nice to me." Tamara began and Katie sighed with a nod. "I understand that. Enemies lurk everywhere, especially on the street. You have to earn trust and you can't buy it. So how can I gain your trust?" Katie wants to know. "Wait...so according to my psychology book, there are seven different ways to build trust." the teenager joked. "And if I remember correctly, in the end it boils down to standing by what you say," Katie joined the joke. "Exactly exactly," it sounds from Tamara with a high look. "Um.. I'm brewing a safe place to store something. This is the first computer that belongs to me. I used it for homework at school, but it's a hundred years old," Tamara said and took a laptop out of her backpack. "And isn't he safe with your cousin?" Katie researched a little more. "Only half sure. I mean nothing happens to me when I sleep but it would be gone in five seconds," she explained to her.

"You can pick him up here in the morning before school. Excuse them? Could you deposit it for Tamara Collins?" Suggested Katie and then asked the receptionist to deposit the laptop. "Thank you," Tamra said honestly. "No problem. And I'm sorry. That I was so angry about the car. It's just my brother was my one and all and there are no more memories, most of the things were given away by my parents, because they couldn't see the things anymore," Katie explained to the student even before the two said goodbye and went their own ways. With the promise that they would have dinner together so that Katie could help Tamara get a little closer to her dreams.

When Katie and Tim arrived home with their son, the mother discovered a gift on the table and decided to look at it. "Did you put that there for me?" Katie wanted to know from Tim who shortly afterwards appeared with her son in arm next to her and put his arm around her waist. "No. I was on the road all day," he said no. "Then who is it from?" She wondered and slowly loosened the loop to be able to remove the lid. There was a doll in the box and a piece of paper.

Querida Katie,
In my country, we tie a red ribbon around a baby's wrist,
To ward off evil.
Thank you for protecting my child today.
Consider this for protection from yours.
La Fiera

Katie carefully detached the band from the doll's arm and pulled it over her own wrist. "What is that supposed to mean?" Asked Tim, who had looked over his girlfriend's shoulder and read the note. "Since I was so out of breath today in the presence of La Fiera and the heartburn was so annoying again, she suspected that I was pregnant. It was probably the same with her when she was pregnant. She said she knew if a woman was pregnant," she explained to him. "Well, then maybe we should make an appointment with your new gynecologist," Tim said happily and gently put his lips on hers.
