When Katie woke up, it was no longer dark as she actually remembered it, but it seemed light into the room where she was. How much time had passed and where the hell was she here?
Next to herself, after being reasonably in her senses again, she recognized Ethan with a tattoo needle in her hand and she knew exactly what that meant when she felt the pain of the stinging of this tattoo.
DOD12919, her Day of Death December, ninth, 2019.
"Do you know what that is? Tell me," Ethan said and start it. She briefly looked again at the involuntary tattoo she was now wearing on herself and then replied: "My day of death." But then everything turned black in front of her eyes again.
When Natalie still hadn't heard from Katie in the morning, her worry rose further and further, so she grabbed her things, keys, handbag, cell phone and such as Elliot's diaper bag and went to the station in the hope that she would get her sister there. Eddie had already driven to work and Christopher would be around Carla, who had arrived here a few minutes ago.

"Tim!?" She drew attention to herself when she entered the district. Surprised, he turned to Natalie and took his son from her. "What's going on? What is Elliot doing with you? Where is Katie?" He also asked her right away and rocked the baby in his arm a little. What do you mean by "Where is Katie?" I thought she was here," she said and desperately brushed her hair. "No. I haven't seen her today," he answered her. "She.. she went for a drink last night.... With this... Ennis... Elvin or something... I'm not quite sure... and then she didn't come home. She also didn't get in touch to let me know somehow," she told him. "Ethan.... Is the name Ethan??" He wanted to know that he was scared. "Yes... Yes, I think so, why? What's going on, you scare me." she asked him to promise what he knew. "His name is Ethan Larson... I met him briefly yesterday when he was here... but I didn't know that she was going to drink something with him..." he said and looked on his cell phone if Katie might have contacted him. But Nothing. "Can you take care of Elliot a little more? I'll take care of it." he asked her and handed her his son and turned to his sergeant.
"Katie didn't come home last night. And also does not respond to names or calls. She was with this guy from... from the hospital. Ethan Larson." he explained Grey and wank Natalie to himself. "Maybe she stayed with him?" The sergeant suspected, but Nat quickly shook his head. "No.. She wouldn't leave Elliot with me all night if she had the chance to have him with her," she refuted this assumption. Also included are Nyla, Camila, Jackson and Nolan. "What do they know about this Ethan?" He now turned to Tim and Natalie. "His name is Ethan Larson and he is an automotive mechatronics technician," Tim said, but that was all he knew. "I don't know, she didn't say anything about him," Nat then replied and shrugged her shoulders.
"Baker. She and West are doing a background check. Before we ring his bell, I want to know everything about him. And look for Armstrong." Grey asked his people and then I turned to the friend with the baby. "You can free yourself in the meeting room." Thanking her niece and followed Nolan there. "I have Katie's cell phone looted and enter it in our database as missing," Nyla decided and thus a plan was created.
"So everyone listens. Detective Katie Winters has not been seen for about 13 hours. In view of the circumstances, we cannot rule out a kidnapping. They finish what they are working on and follow the matter until it is found. Clarify what kind of emergency calls have been received," Grey instered the rest of his people in the district.
"According to the telephone company, their GPS is switched off. The last signal came from the 6th and La Brea at 9:07 p.m." Nyla said when she came back. But none of them knew where exactly there was anything. A bar or something maybe?
"And what do we do now?" Asked Nolan, who was already back. "We're going to the hospital. We talk to the rescued victim. Maybe she knows something that helps us find the man," Grey explained and then the three do. Harper, Nolan and Grey on their way to the hospital.

The next time Katie woke up, she was no longer lying on the table she lay on, but was attached to a chair with several layers of adhesive tape. desperately she tries to loosen herself somehow, but it only brought her more pain, especially on her wrists.
"You are awake. I would offer you something but it's better your stomach is empty because of...after. With the many screams you tend to....." Ethan's voice suddenly sounded behind her when he stepped into the room with a plate full of food, at the last point he said he hinted at choking noises and it was clear where he was talking about. "Wars... Can I get at least water??" She asked, her voice quite hoarse because she hadn't spoken for a long time and her neck was very dry. "But of course. I'm not a monster," he answered and grabbed the bottle from the table and let a little water flow into her throat. "Don't be too greedy," he commented.
"That's why you bumped me into the hospital? So that I can be your next victim?" She wanted to know and looked at him angrily. "Oh, no. I understand that's confusing. You were actually not the goal at all, but only the happy coincidence. I was actually there to look for Armstrong, but he was drinking something with your friends. Honestly? I don't know what Rosalind finds in him. But I am not entitled to a judgment. We all have our fetish. Mine, for example, are women with children," he answered her chewing and smamming. "And do you pan to bury me in Rosalind's third grave?" With his face, he said: "Actually, Nora should go in there, but your friends messed it up." Nora was the girl Harper and Nolan had found and saved.
"Why are you actually doing something like that?" She tried to understand what led him to it. "This is a question for the second date. But that won't happen. I'm sorry. So I'll get started now. I still have a lot to do before I put you in there," he says and wanted to leave the room. "Wait, wait, wait... Why....why the tattoo? Is this a mark of property? The ultimate control because you over a person, because you decide when he dies?" She stopped him. "No! That's not for me, nonsense. It's for you. It forces you to know the truth of your death. That you will never see your family again. Your sisters, your parents, your son... And is therefore a gift that we rarely receive in life. Clarity."
"Did Rosalind instilled that in you?" She asked and ignored that he had mentioned her family. Would you find them in time?
"No. There's from me," he yelled angrily. "I.. I just thought Rosalind was your mentor," she suspected. "No, no, no, that's not true. We are equal." He probably didn't like the fat being assumed to be Rosalind's running boy. "Does she know that?" She asked and a light came up for him. He knew what she was trying to do.
"You are really good Detective Winters. I'll enjoy it." he grinned wrongly. "Even more than I thought." he added. Then he left the room.
