But before Katie could meet with Grey's informants, she was called by Tim and asked to meet at his location. It would probably be about Tamara. She had probably sold Elliot's car, which she was supposed to take care of.

"I just don't believe it!" Katie scolded when she came up to the student in new clothes. "You're selling my brother's car, one of the few things I still had from him for some new clothes?!" She wanted to know stunned. "It was my car. You gave it to me," Tamara defended herself. "Yes to sleep in it and to take care of it, nothing else." you definitely noticed that Katie was very angry with the young girl and somehow the little one was also sorry, but what should she have done?

"Can you even imagine what it's like to go to school every day with unwashed hair and dirty things? So yes, I sold the car and got something nice. I finally wanted to feel normal." Tamara tried to explain it to her. "And where is the rest of the money?" Tim now asked, who was watching the matter with Chen from the car. "Set back for college," the little one replied, shrugging.

"Why didn't you just say something? You were with me this morning so you already had a buyer." Katie now suspected a little more gently. "I knew you wouldn't understand. You would have said "no." She got an answer and Tamara wanted to leave. At first, Katie was thinking about being angry, but then it gave up.

"Wait! Where are you going to live now?" She wanted to know. "With my cousin," Tamara said and on her next question if it would be safe, Katie didn't get an answer.

But Tim couldn't answer because they were called to an emergency and Katie had to go to Grey's informant.

"I was with your informant. My murder victim was the local watchdog for a cartel from Guatemala. Especially for La Fiera," Katie told her sergeant about the conversation. "La Fiera?? Is that a woman?" He asked confused. "Her real name is Sandra de la Cruz. A powerful drug dealer from Guatemala. It is said that she was only 15 when she came out of the hospital with her newborn son and got into the line of fire of two rival gangs. She wanted to protect her baby. She grabbed a semi-automatic from one of the dead gangsters and shot everyone. The cartel was very impressed and recruited her and called her La Fiera," she told him. "And they believe that?" The sergeant wanted to know.

"Songs have been written about it and there is a telenovela. So I don't know if the stories were, but La Fiera is very real and dangerous," Katie said shrug her shoulders. "And they think they are connected to this murder," Grey suspected. "I don't know," she answered honestly when her gaze fell on a few brochures that her boss probably tried to hide.

"What is that? Do you want to retire? When?" She asked him immediately after reading the titles of the brochures. "I don't know yet." it just came back. "Would they have told us?" Katie was a little disappointed that he probably wouldn't even have said anything. "Do you share with us all your personal decisions?" He countered skillfully. "Sometime already," she said, she looked up to us from the brochures. "There they see it. I would have said something when the time had come," he still answered and then dismissed her.

"I'm happy for her, sir. Only...without her it won't be the same," Katie said before she left him alone.

The next morning, Nolan and Harper were able to catch the perpetrator for Katie's murder case. Guillermo Sandoval, Guatemalan.

"At first, it made no sense to me that a cop with a good reputation would do such a thing. Then I did a little research. They survived the massacre of Antuigo Leon. The village rebelled against the cartel, everyone was killed. Men, women, children. Their children. But this man they killed had nothing to do with it." Katie began to explain in the interrogation room and put the pictures in front of Guilermo's nose.

He worked for her," he answered her.

"La Fiera. And they want revenge. But it's hard to catch. Clever and very careful. It is said that she travels by yacht in order not to be attacked. And that explains the diving suit. They had to practice shooting all the equipment with him. That was clearly Plan A. But they asked someone for a plan B. And what does it look like?" Tried to squeeze her out of him. Now what Nolan saw also made sense.

"You'll see that. Still early enough." and with that the interrogation on his part was over.

Together, Chen, Bradford, Stanton, West, Harper, Nolan, Winters, Baker and Lopez made their way to the position of La Fiera known to them. A college.

"Now we have to protect a drug baron? Can't we just take a break and let nature run its course?" Stanton complained to the present as they walked towards the cars. "Also serious questions?" Katie returned annoyed and Tim smiled at his girlfriend's behavior. "Is there anything against her somewhere? Drug Department? FBI?" Tim distracted from his thoughts again. "She's on the screen, but there are no arrest warrants. So as far as we're concerned, she's clean," she answered.

"Can she be protected privately?" Nolan asked because those present wanted all the information they could get. "Yes. And they will be equipped. Hopefully we'll be there before the trouble starts," Katie hoped.

Once at college, they split up to be able to keep an eye on the whole campus, at least to try.

"To all units. Got them. Winters. Faculty of Arts, East Entrance." Katie told her colleagues via radio and approached the point persons.

"Muy tranquilo. Soy Detective Winters de la policía de Los Ángeles. Sra. ¿De La Cruz?" She greeted the family. "Yes, what can I do for her Detective? You can speak openly in front of my son. I have nothing to hide," the addressed returned. "Her life is in serious danger. I have officials who will accompany her to a safe place," Katie explained to the woman and gave her her protective vest for safety. But instead of wearing it herself, she gave it to her son.

In the next moment, shots sounded shortly after someone had called for "La Fiera". And one of the security guards of La Fiera fell dead on the ground, Katie quickly grabbed her gun and shot herself in the direction from which the previous shots came.

"To all units. It's being shot at us. Faculty of Philosophy. 3. Stock," she told the others and then ran after La Fiera.
