Chapter twenty-six

"I will really miss you. And I will definitely visit you and Natalie in LA soon." Hailey said goodbye to her sister when it was time for Katie to fly back to LA again. Katie had also told her that Natalie now lived in LA and would not leave so quickly.

"I will miss you too. Actually, I would also like to stay for a while, but Sergeant Grey needs me at home again." Katie said just as sad to have to leave again. "I understand that. And I'm sure you want to see your son again. And put it on the line with Tim," Hailey laughed and then finally said goodbye to Katie.

"I'm so happy to finally be back home," Katie said when she let herself be exhausted, plump on the sofa next to Tim. The two had just put Elliot to sleep together and now wanted to watch a movie. "Was Chiacgo so shitty?" Tim asked her, because the real plan since they wanted to talk on the phone every evening went a bit in the pants because the one week she was there had it all. They had many exciting cases in which they had worked. The crime rate in Chiacgo was higher than that here in LA.

"No. Quite the opposite. It was great. I met a lot of nice people, worked on the most interesting cases and I saw Hailey again. You remember her, don't you? My dad took her in with us when she was little," she said. "The blonde-haired?" Tim asked her. "Tim.. all my sisters are blonde." she laughed at him. "Yes, I know... Jokes aside. I still remember her. And she's working in Chicago now?" He also answered her with a laugh. "Yes.. one of the best detectives in their unit. I admire their work. She and her partner are a really well-rehearsed team. And they are together," she smiled. "Hey..you're just as good a detective as she is." he cheered her up and put his hand on her cheek.

Shortly afterwards, the lips of the two were already on top of each other and Tim pulled them onto his lap. Her hands landed in his hair and his on her hips. When they separated from each other, she looked at him lovingly. "Hailey gave me some advice... I'm supposed to get this going with you. So I follow her advice," she said quietly and reunited the lips of the two.

With his hands he greedily pulled on her shirt, so they loosened again and she raised her arms up so that he could pull it over her head. And after her shirt was on the floor, her bra followed not a short time later. "You still have too much on," Katie said greedily and now pulled on the collar of his shirt. He briefly put her next to her on the sofa and took off both his top and pants. "Let's move the whole thing to the bedroom," Tim suggested and when she nodded in agreement, he lifted her up so that she could wrap her legs around his hips. And together they ran into the bedroom, their lips separating only a few times. Carefully she dropped her on the bed before he removed her panties with her consent and threw them on the floor of the bedroom. Since she could not stay without touching for long, she pulled him back to her.

"I love you." she brought out between the sounds she made. "I love you too." he breathed to her body. And united the two together.

Apparently Katie had missed a lot in the week she wasn't in LA. The thing with Armstrong and the thing with Nolan. Lucy and Tim at American Idol and how Wesley had proposed to her best friend.

So Nyla, Camila, Angela, Lucy and Natalie had met for breakfast at Katie's house. "So what else did I miss except that my best friend is engaged. That we had a corrupt cop among us and Lucy singing in a talent show. And Angela is now also a detective." Katie wanted to know and sat back at the dining table with her cup of coffee. "Eddie and I are moving in together," Natalie told the others. "And what does Christopher think of it?" Camila asks. The friends had already met Eddie and Christopher. "He is happy for his dad... I just think that it is still somehow difficult for him to accept that I will live with them.... I'm not his mother and I won't try to take her place either.... I just want him to know that I'm there for him when he needs me," she explained and stirred around in her tea again and again. "He knows that...he just has to process it first. I'm sure of that." Lucy tried to calm her down. "She's right. It'll be fine." Nyla now also agreed.

"So who do you get as a partner?" Natalie asked Angela now to draw attention from here. "To be honest, I don't even know yet. Grey hasn't said anything yet. I guess I'll have to wait," she said shrugging her shoulders. "What interests me the most is... Have you already started planning something for the wedding?" Katie changed the subject and everyone was equally on fire to support Angela in planning.

"I'm pregnant." Angela suddenly revealed her secret while all the other ideas were collecting, but when they heard that, they interrupted what they were doing and looked at them.

"Congratulations. You will be a great mother. And then Elliot has a playmate." Katie congratulated her first followed by the others.
