Chapter fourteen

I know that this does not match the timeline of The Rookie, but I am now skipping a few episodes of the second season, because with the "planning of the chapters" I don't need them all up to a certain point. In addition, the child must be born so that I can continue with my ideas.

It didn't take long for Mini Tim to be born. Yes, it will be a boy. They had learned this quite a while ago at the baby shower that Lucy and Angela had planned with joy for the two. Katie and Tim had also already found a name for their son. Anne and William Winters, now also knew that they would become grandparents, but unfortunately they would miss the birth because they were on a cruise at the time.

Since Talia no longer worked on the guard, a new officer had to come. Nyla Harper she was an undercover detective and had received a golden ticket and was now stationed in Mid-Wilshire to be closer to her daughter who she had "lost" during her time undercover.

Natalie and Katie were as close as they used to and you could see them together somewhere at least twice a week, especially since Katie was on maternity leave and had also successfully passed the detective exam. Natalie and Katie often went shopping for Mini Tim together, but Christopher, the son of Natalie's boyfriend, was also there a few times alone.

And even today the two found themselves back in the city, eating together, again when Katie suddenly groaned in pain, for about a week she had already had exercise pains, but that was normal towards the end of the pregnancy. But it hasn't been as bad as it is today.

"Do you want us to go to the hospital already?" Nat wanted to know. "Not yet... yet. If it gets worse, I'll let you know," she said, so the two sisters drove home first.

Tim and Lucy were on patrol during that time and talked about the award that Jackson and he would receive this afternoon.

"Is Katie coming?" Lucy wanted to know curiously. "To this award story? If she feels good, she has to come," he replied and said on the street.

"Hey there. Skateboarder at three o'clock. He will steal the woman's bag." Chen said energetically and looked at the sidewalk what Tim did to her and thus did not see the car in front of them. And already the next moment they had driven the car in front of them in the back.

"You are bleeding," Lucy noticed, frightened, and looked at her instructor when she had briefly recovered from the shock. "I'll be fine.. everything okay?" He now wanted to know about her and quickly she nodded. "Get the torches out and seal the road off," he instered them as he ran towards the driver of the car in front of them.

"Ma'am, are you hurt?" He asked her. "No, I'm fine." she assured him and grabbed her bag before she got out of the car.

"Headquarters, Adam 7-19. Report traffic accident to the Melrose and Gardner. Emergency vehicle involved." he called the head office and reported the incident.

Katie's contractions now came at intervals of about 10 minutes and her amniotic sac had also burst, so she and Natalie had made their way to the hospital, but neither of the two women could reach Tim, so Natalie had asked her boyfriend to look for him. The two men had already met and had already gone for a drink together a few times.

"Have you finally reached Tim?" Katie asked her sister for what felt like the hundredth time and leaned on the bed frame. The cervix was already 7 cm widened and it could not be long before her son saw the light of day.

"Not yet. But I'll try again right away," she said when she discovered Katie's worried look. She quickly grabbed her phone and ran into the hallway. But what she didn't expect was to find Tim there. "What happened?" She also asked as soon as she discovered the dried blood on his nose. "I drove someone on the back," he answered her. "Is it bad?" She squeezed him out. She also had to tell him that Katie was also here. "She's in the emergency room," he said, pointing to the friend who has just been examined by Grace Sawyer.

"Tim... um so... your girlfriend is also here." she just knocked out when he was about to leave. Surprised, he turned to Natalie. "What why?!!" He also asked right away. "Your son is on his way," she answered, pointing down a room.

"Hey Natalie... Thank you," he said before he entered the room. Natalie informed Eddie shortly before she also entered the room.

"Tim..." Katie exhaled with relief when she finally had her boyfriend by her side.

3 hours later, full of insults and curses that Tim had to endure, Katie finally held the common son of the two in her arms.
