In the chapter it will mainly, well actually only be about pregnant women. Around Angela her storyline and my integrated storyline of Katie.

"Ms. Winters." Katie was called by the nurse when she had an appointment with her new gynecologist a few days later, because her old one had retired. "That's me." Katie said and followed the sister to the examination room.

Tim and Katie didn't even have to wait 5 minutes when the doctor entered the room. "Good day. I'm Dr. O'Brian. Well, then we want to take a look at the little crumb." she introduced herself and sat down next to the couch on the stool and pulled in the ultrasonic device.

"Attention, it could get cold," she said and smeared the gel on Katie's belly, where a small bulge could be seen, but if you didn't look closely, you would think Katie had just eaten too much. "Is this her first pregnancy?" The doctor wanted to know. "No. the second. We already have a baby. A healthy son," Katie replied and looked at Tim radiantly before she directed her gaze back to the screen. "It looks like they are in the 8th. Week pregnant. And for this stand everything looks as it should be. I would have you the mother's passport given to them by the nurse and make a new appointment in 4 weeks," Dr. O'Brian said and took off the gloves she had worn and gave Katie a cloth so that she could wipe her stomach.

When the two of them arrived at the station, Katie was wearing her best friend in the break room.

"Since when have you been drinking decaffeinated coffee?" Katie asked with raised eyebrows. "Because I remember when I was pregnant I definitely drank a coffee a day. Everything all right?" Katie asked worriedly when she recognized Angela's sad look. "Yes.... No, not really. I am excluded from everyone except Camila and you. And I also know that Caradine is not allowed to slow me down, but he is allowed to distribute good bets to non-pregnant women," the black-haired told her and the two women sat down at the table that stood in the break room. "The guy is a bastard. But don't let it get you down. You can do it, I believe in you." Katie cheered her up. "I know. But isn't it unfair that a man is never asked how to be the father and reconcile his profession."

"Is there anything else or not?" Researched Katie when Angela suddenly became quiet. "Did you have an amniocentesis performed by Elliot?" the black-haired one wanted to know. "The number with the long needle in the stomach? No, I didn't... Ange what's going on?" Katie was worried about her best friend. "Wesley has a predisposition to Fragile X Syndrome. And the shitty thing is... even if they discover the mutated gene, as feared then we don't know if my baby is affected... it only clears up after birth." explained Angela and a few tears ran down her cheeks. With the chair on which she sat, she slipped a little closer to her best friend and took her in her arms.

"I thought becoming a mother would be so easy.. everything looked so simple with you," she sighed and rejected her head on Katie's shoulder. "It's definitely not easy..but if you do it together. You and Wesley... then you'll get it done. Oh and by the way, don't let your sergeant like it," Katie advised her best friend. The two women sat there for a few more minutes when Angela interrupted the silence. "Would you accompany me??" She asked quietly. "But certainly. You can count on me," Katie replied.

*******

"Hey, no matter what the results say. We can do it." Katie tried to reassure her friend who desperately wobbled her leg and waited for the specialist of Wesley's mom.

"Thank you for waiting." the doctor greeted the two. "Do you have the results?" Angela wanted to know immediately when she entered the room. "Doesn't her husband come?" Asked the woman in the white coat in amazement. "Fiancé... and no, he doesn't think I'll take the test until next week," replied the black-haired policewoman. "How am I supposed to understand that? And who are they?" Was addressed with the last part of the sentence Katie. "I love him, but that came as a very surprise. And I don't know what I do if it is... and that... is my best friend... she supports me." Answer Angela.

"But it's not. The amniocentesis after Fragile-X was negative and also after all other important genetic disorders," the doctor explained to her patient. "Then my baby is healthy??" Angela asked and burst into tears and with a nod and a short "yes" the doctor confirmed what Angela had heard. And immediately Katie took her friend in her arms again before they both had to go to the district for their next shift.

The thing with Stanton slowly ran over, because Tim had now also messed with him.

"Hey Stanton, do you never need a refresher in arrest techniques?? I would be available." Tim asked the addressed, angrily about what he let Jackson go through. "Anytime." the sneaky policeman named Stanton also replies with a shameful grin. "Yes? Does it fit now?" Asked Tim in further angrily and made himself big.

"We are on duty...so...come on." Lucy tried to de-escalate the situation, but apparently without success. "Oh, how sweet. Her hot little student wants to save you. I'm not sure what your hot friend thinks of it." Stanton now provoked her and Tim. "They are the one who needs to be saved." said Lucy angry because she didn't like it when she was only portrayed as Tim's student and the relationship of her trainer and his girlfriend was badly done badly, because this said friend had also become one of her closest friends over time.

"Are you threatening me?" Stanton asked stunned. "I mean yes only to the knees between and pull on their hair I would love to train," Chen still replied angrily. "Okay, come on. Our suspect is waiting," said Tim and already his rookie further away from Stanton.
