"Tim damn it! Open the door!! Come on!" Katie demanded and knocked furiously against the door, but it didn't work.

"Everything okay out there, Officer Chen?" He asked Lucy because he knew Katie was mad at him and she was allowed to be right, because he had messed up by exposing himself to the virus to protect her, whatever may come.

"Yes, the epidemic center has been informed. Hey you have to get out of there," said Lucy and looked at Officer Winters, who ran up and down without rest and if she continued like this then she would run a hole in the ground.

"That's not going to happen. I have to keep that under lock and key." but he refused. "Tim!!," not only Katie was worried. Because Lucy had also grown up to her TO and so had she to him, even if he would never admit it because he was just too proud of that. "It will be fine, Bambi. Take care of Katie, she shouldn't worry too much. Everything is going to be okay," he asked his rookie.

Katie puffed. Too much worry?? He said that so easily. How could she not worry, he was exposed to a deadly disease and could possibly die. And she had always not told him that she was pregnant, she wanted to do that today after the shift at a dinner for two him her favorite restaurant. How should the child grow up without a father?

A while later, the first people of the disease protection center showed up at the house, including Dr. Morgan in a protective suit and with a mask.

"Officer Chen, tell me what happened," Dr. Morgen asked her. " Yes, um.. the bus traveler reached into the wrong backpack where the virus must be in it. He spat blood, also on Tim." she began to tell when a few of the people in the yellow suits locked the door with foil. "Hey! What are they doing there.?! We have to get them out of it!" Katie said angry and tried to stop them, but without success.

"But first we will have to set up an appropriate quarantine. Did you both get blood?" Dr. tomorrow stopped her. "No.. We were out here. Tim immediately closed the door," Katie replied still angrily to the woman in front of her.

"Officer Bradford. This is Dr. Morgan from the CDC. How are you?" She wanted to know. "Good. Mr. Langston is struggling." So Tim was fine, fortunately. But would it stay that way?

"Describe his condition."

"Yes. Yes, he started spitting blood. About 20 minutes ago. Now he has a very strong nosebleed," Tim replied from inside the locked door.

"Where is the vaccine?" Chen now asked the expert. "Still in the air. He should land within the next hour or so." returned it and Katie puffed out annoyed. "You can't keep Tim waiting in there. Maybe he didn't get infected at all."

"I can't. I'm sorry Officer Winters, the quarantine regulations have their reason." Dr. Morgen apologized and then turned back to the door.

"Officer Bradford? Can you do a little work while you wait?" the redhead woman asked the officer. "Youwant to know what's in the backpack," he suspected. "Exact." "I understand. Chen! I turn on my bodycam. You can track it via monitor."

"So here we go," he said. Katie quickly stood next to the two women and followed via monitor with what was going on in there.

"Wait a minute, what kind of bottle is that?" Dr. Morgen interrupted him, so Tim carefully took the said bottle out of the backpack with a stick. "It looks like a spray bottle, with a fan," he suspected. "I think you're right. This looks like a nutrient solution in the bottle. Add the virus and then spray it in a lot. The droplets land on people's faces and infect them through their mouth and nose. Is the simplest technique you can use," the expert explained to them and then called her people to forward the information.

"No indication of the identity of the target person," Tim murmured and continued to scourch through the backpack. But then you could see in the mirror how Mr. Langston had a chair in his hand and wanted to put one over the officer.

"Tim!!! Tim!! Watch out!" Katie was still roaring, but it was too late Mr. Langston had hit him with the chair......

********

When Tim came back to himself, the blood of the infected man already ran very close to him. With all his strength, he already goes back a bit to avoid him. Mr. Langston was still standing firmly with the chair in his hand and murmured confused all the time "I have to get out of here. I have to get out of here." Shortly decided, Tim grabbed his taser and the next moment the man was already lying on the floor.

"Tim!" The panicked and worried voices of his girlfriend and his rookie still sounded from outside the door. He took his handcuffs out of his belt and fixed the man to the bed frame so that he could not move away from there and he could not infect himself even more than he did.

"Everything is okay. I'm fine. Well, that was fun," he joked and Katie exhaled with relief. "Are you really doing well?" Chen asked him, because his bodycam had failed because of the collision. "It depends on your definition of good."

"You have to get this vaccine right away."
