"Wait. Why are we here?" Jin's question floated in the air, like a leaf caught in a gentle breeze.

Jungkook paused, his hand hovering over the seat belt buckle. He turned his gaze towards Jin, his hyung, whose eyes were filled with curiosity. "To see Jimin?" he replied, a hint of bewilderment seeping into his voice. Wasn't it clear why they were here?

"But Jimin isn't there anymore," Jin pointed out, his thumb gesturing to the scene outside the car window - the old house that used to be Jimin's.

Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed, his eyes following Jin's gesture. The sight of the deserted house struck a melancholic chord in his heart. It was nothing like the vibrant home he remembered. He turned back to Jin, his eyes mirroring his confusion and sadness. "Then, where are they?"

Jin held his gaze, a moment of hesitation passing before he decided whether to reveal Jimin's new address.

"Sir?"

Jackson rolled his eyes as he looked at Jimin who was striding towards him with an iiPad tucked under his arm. "As much as I appreciate your professionalism, Jimin, you don't need to call me 'sir'," he said, his fingers dancing across the keyboard as he peered intently at the laptop screen.

Jimin couldn't help but chuckle. "It's just part of the job, Sir. What else am I supposed to call you?"

Jackson gave him a pointed look, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Jimin."

"Okay, okay, Jackson," Jimin conceded, raising his hands in surrender.

A warm smile graced Jackson's lips. "So, what's on my schedule for today?"

Jimin powered on the iPad and opened the notes that displayed his boss's jam-packed itinerary. "At 10 am sharp, you have a meeting with Mr. Chang. From 12 to 2 pm, you have a lunch meeting with Mr. Jung. Then, you have some free time from 2 to 4 pm." Jimin glanced up at Jackson, who was attentively listening.

"Is that all?" the CEO inquired, his curiosity piqued.

Jimin couldn't help but chuckle again. "Not quite, Jackson."

"This brat," Jackson muttered under his breath, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

Jimin continued, his voice laced with mischief. "You have another meeting with Mrs. Tsu from 4 to 6 pm, and..." He scrolled down the notes, his finger gliding effortlessly across the screen. "At 7 to 8 pm, you have a meeting with Mr. Kang-" Suddenly, Jackson burst into laughter, leaving Jimin utterly perplexed.

"Oh my god," Jackson managed to say between fits of laughter. "So Mr. Kang actually has the audacity to face me now?" He wiped away the tears of mirth that had gathered in the corners of his eyes.

Jimin looked at his boss, his brows furrowing in confusion. "Is there something wrong?"

"Seriously, Jimin?" Jackson stared at him, as if trying to ring a bell in Jimin's head. "Kang..." He trailed off, hoping Jimin would catch on.

Jimin pondered for a moment before a chuckle, no, a dark chuckle, escaped his lips. "Ah, so it's Kang Vincent we're talking about."

"Exactly, my friend, 101 percent," Jackson confirmed, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "You should definitely come with me when we meet him."

Jimin's smirk widened. "Oh, the poor rat. Why did he willingly place himself in this precarious situation?" He chuckled again, a hint of a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.

"Yeah," Jackson agreed, crossing his legs under the table. "Especially since he has no idea that you're my secretary now. I'm sure he'll be in for quite a shock when he sees you later."
