"Hi, Jimin."
Jimin lifted his head and saw Mingyu. "Hey, how are you?"
Mingyu smiled at him. "I'm okay, just still single," he chuckled.
Jimin chuckled awkwardly. "Oh, I know you'll find someone."
Mingyu just scratched the back of his neck, feeling shy. "How about you? How are you?"
"I'm doing okay," Jimin said.
"I waited for your text when I gave you my number," Mingyu said suddenly. "I thought we could talk."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot," Jimin apologized, genuinely feeling bad. He really had forgotten because he was so tired those nights.
"It's okay," Mingyu smiled at him before taking something from his pocket—a contact card again. He handed
it to Jimin. "You can contact me here."
Jimin took it and hesitantly nodded his head.
"Jimin?" Suddenly, Jungkook appeared in front of them, lifting the sleepy Minju. Jungkook looked at Mingyu curiously.
Jimin looked at Jungkook and smiled. "You're already here." Then he looked up at Mingyu. "We need to go now, because we still have work tomorrow." He smiled at Mingyu before stepping closer to Jungkook.
But Jimin stopped walking when Mingyu suddenly took his arm, his grip gentle. "Contact me, okay?" Mingyu said softly before ruffling Jimin's hair, ignoring Jungkook's glare.
Jungkook clenched his jaw and teeth, wanting to punch this guy, but Minju was there, so he tried his best not to lose his cool.
Mingyu saw how Jungkook controlled his anger and it made him satisfied. Then he stopped touching Jimin's hair and said goodbye, but he didn't forget to smirk at Jungkook.
"Weird," Jimin said suddenly, watching Mingyu walk away. Then Jimin looked up at Jungkook and noticed that he was not in the mood. "Are you okay?"
Jungkook looked down at him, his eyes softening immediately. "Yeah."
Jimin nodded hesitantly before noticing that Minju was sleeping comfortably in Jungkook's arms. "Let's go home. He's already asleep."
*****
It was almost two weeks ago when Jungkook and Jimin went on a date with Minju.
Their relationship was getting better every day, but Jungkook couldn't help but overthink.
The man who had talked to Jimin at the mall looked like he was interested in his husband.
Jungkook wanted to talk to Jimin about it, but he didn't know how to start. Maybe because he and Jimin didn't have a label yet, because Jimin hasn't answered him yet. Because he was just Jimin's suitor, so he had no right to be jealous and tell Jimin to stay away from that man.
It's not that he didn't trust Jimin; he just didn't trust that man.
What if that man had bad plans for Jimin? What if he took Jimin from him? He didn't know. He was confused. What he needed now was assurance from Jimin. But how could he get that if he didn't let Jimin know about it?
He knew that Jimin gave him another chance because he also wanted their marriage to be lively again. Jimin agreed because he also wanted to be with him again. But Jungkook still couldn't help but be afraid.
So here he was now in his office, not knowing what to do. There was a lot of work piled up on his desk. He didn't know what to prioritize. And another problem was that he didn't have a secretary. He wasn't hiring yet because he was waiting for someone.
