Chapter 16

SAKURA POV

Lunchtime rolls around and I decided to do some stretching since I was feeling stiff from staying in bed. I was just finishing up when the office door opened and shota and Hizashi walk in with a plastic bag in each of their hands.

"We brought food and wanted check on you" said shota.

"SAAAKKKKUUURAAAA!" Cried Hizashi as he rushed to tackle her in sobs. "WE WERE SO WOOOORRRIIIIED!!!"

I cringe my head back a bit as I awkwardly pat the sobbing man's back and I look at shota.

"Can I call you dad or no?" I ask.

"Only when nobody else is around" he replied "the staff all know but the students don't"

I nod and look down at Hizashi who was still clinging to me.

"I'm okay mama-zashi" I said "I just exceeded the limit of my quirk"

The man sobs some more till dadzawa pries him off me and he starts calming down. The two males look at me and dadzawa sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose.

"Are you sure you're alright?" He asks "you're not hurt?"

I shake my head and smile at him. "I'm good as new" I replied.

"If I had realized bakugo would have pushed your limits I would have paired you up with someone else"

"It's fine dad" I said "I knew he was a prideful hothead so he was probably just in the heat of the moment"

He crosses his arms and narrows his eyes. "That no excuse for him to insult you like that. If he wasn't able to calm you down you would have gotten hurt along with the students"

I look at the floor and nod. "I know that" I said softly "which is why I warned everyone before the fight. It was up to them what they wanted to do with the information"

"You should have told me before we enrolled you, we could have been better prepared"

"Prepared how?" I snap "have someone on standby to knock me out? Someone you think could take me when I become a fucking monster?!"

Shota looks at me surprised by my outburst but doesn't say anything.

"Sakura" said Hizashi quietly as I start to break down.

"I know I should have told you but you never exactly asked either l, so don't you dare blame me" I said tears pricking the corners of my eyes. "You have no idea how hard it is the remain in control when I've never had to!"

I wipe my tears and grab my bag off the nearest chair and swing it over my shoulder while heading towards the door.

"Where are you going?" Asked shota "you haven't been cleared with recovery girl"

I look over my shoulder at him with a glare. "To finish the rest of the day, then I'm going home" I said. "Come find me when you're ready to talk to me and not scold me"

I then walk out slamming the door behind me and making my way back to class. I keep my eyes on the floor only looking to see if I'm going in the right direction.

'Why does everything have to be my fault' I thought to myself 'he doesn't know the details about me with the LOV'

I soon make it back to the classroom and I hear talking from everyone on the other side. I wipe my eyes again and put on a fake smile before opening the door.

"I'm back everyone!"

"SAKURA!" Yelled Mina and denkias they rush to the door and hug me.

I laugh and hug them back. "I'm fine guys" I said "really"
