Chapter 39

SAKURA POV

After we finished with all the parents we went home and the first thing I did was change out of the dress clothes I wore and into a tank top and comfy pants. I head back downstairs where dads and allmight were.

"So what happens next?" I asked as I go to the fridge and start pulling out stuff to make dinner.

"We got approval for all the students so the next step really is to get packed and get your stuff into the dorms.

I rinse off some veggies and start chopping them up. "I'm assuming we have assigned rooms"

Dad nods. "You'll be able to personalize your room however you see fit in order to be comfortable"

"Do I have a balcony?"

"Yes"

"Good"

I then look over at Allmight who was sipping at a cup of tea. "Uncle might" I said getting his attention. "Would you like to stay for dinner? I'm making burgers and salad"

He smiles and nods. "I'd like that thank you Sakura"

I smile back and start seasoning the meat and I start mixing it and forming patties before placing some on the grill pan. "Is Shinzo here?"

"He should be" said Hizashi as he stands up. "I'll go get him"

"Thank you mamazashi!"  I called as he disappeared upstairs.

Dadzawa watches me as I go back and forth in the kitchen as I made dinner. "Sakura" he says making my hum in response. "How exactly did you manage to get midoriya's mom to agree to let him into the dorms"

I glance at him and back at the pan as I flip the patties. "I promised her I'd help uncle might protect him" I replied "I told her that I have been through things that gave me the strength to fight for others so they don't have to go through a similar pain"

"Can you keep that promise?"

I look at him again. "I will protect my family till my dying breath" I said "that's a promise I made to myself as well as her and I plan on keeping it"

Dad and Allmight look at each other with slight concern but they both nod in understanding.

I go back to the burgers on the stove and set the cooked ones on a separate plate. I hear footsteps and I look over to see hizashi and Shinzo walk into the kitchen.

"Morning sunshine!" I said cheerfully, giggling when he looked at me with a blank face. "Do you mind setting the table big bro?oh and uncle might will be joining us"

He just nods and heads to the cabinet containing the plates and the drawers for silverware and sets the table as I finish the last of the food and I place the plate and the Salad in the middle of the table before grabbing the buns and condiments from the fridge.

"Enjoy!" I said and everyone started to dig in. I smile when I see the content looks on everyone's faces implying that they like it.

I won't let anyone hurt any of you

After dinner and we all cleaned up uncle might states that he had to head home. I give him a hug and he pats my back.

"Stay safe" i told him.

"You too kid" he replied "thank you for dinner"

"You're welcome anytime"

He walks out the door and I watch as he gets to his car and gives a wave before he drives off.

I close the door then head into my room to start packing. I plug in my phone and I turn on some music and I tape together the first box and started putting the clothes from my closet along with a few pairs of shoes inside. I finished the first box, tape it up and wrote 'closet' in the side before placing it in the corner and prepared the next box.
