Chapter 27

SAKURA POV

Katsuki and I get back to the class view spot and he has me sit down and kisses my forehead.

"I'll be back" he said "I got a match to win"

"I'll be rooting for you" I replied as he starts walking away.

I turn my attention towards the field and notice the class staring at me. "W-what?" I asked

"When the hell did that happen?" Asked denki

"Oh please" said enjiro "we all saw it coming sooner or later"

"You were all wanting this to happen?" I asked

"I was" said enjiro "you guys are almost always staring at each other"

I blush at that comment and look at the field to see katsuki and shoto enter the field. "It's starting" I said , wanting to avoid any more questions.

WE'RE ON OUR ONE OF TEO MATCHES BEFORE THE FINAL BATTLE... ON ONE SIDE WE HAVE TODOROKI AND ON TGE OTHER IS BAKUGOOO BOTH CONTESTANTS READY TO BRING THE HEAT...OR THE COLD.

READY..... BEGIN!

Katsuki was the first to move and he propelled himself with his explosion's towards shoto who quickly uses his ice to make a massive glacier surrounding him.

We all hear muffled booms getting progressively louder, before the side closest to shoto is blasted away revealing katsuki who used his blasts to tunnel through the ice.

"USE YOUR FIRE!" I hear him yell. "AM I NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU TO GO ALL OUT!"

'Katsuki'

I watch as he sends blast after blast at shoto trying to get him to use his flames. I notice a flicker coming from shoto's left side and I think he's about to use it as he goes to meet katsuki's attack but it snuffs out last minute and he's blasted away hitting the ice behind him rendering him unable to continue.

Looking at katsuki I can tell he's not happy with how the fight ended and he staggers towards shoto and he goes to grab him, but suddenly passes out as a pink mist surrounded him, and I soon realize it was midnight's quirk.

I quickly get up and rush down to the field at the medical bots were taking the two off the field. "Are they going to be alright?" I asked one.

"They will be fine, one base mostly scratches so he should wake up any minute."

As if on cue katsuki shoots up and looks around and notices me next to him.

"What the hell happened?" He asked

"Midnight used her quirk on you when you tried to get to an unconscious todoroki"

He grits his teeth angrily. "The bastard wouldn't use his full power." He growled "not like he did with deku.

"I noticed" I said "I think he had something on his mind that made him hesitate"

He looks back at me and his eyes soften. "You're up next aren't you"

I nod and grin. "One more match and I can fight you"

He smirks at me. "Then you better win dragon"

"What no more 'scales' nickname?"

"I'll give you a break"

I laugh and give him a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you real soon"

I then head out to the field and wait for my opponent.

NOBODY POV

Sakura waits patiently at tokoyami walks onto the field and they stand and wait for the bell.

"It'll be an honor to be able to fight you tokoyami" she said "I've been wanting to have a shot at you and your quirk."

"As have I" he said "it'll be a memorable fight"

READY.... BEGIN

The bell sounds and tokoyami is the first to attack.

"Go dark shadow!"

A shadowy figure comes out of his chest and speeds toward sakura, who chooses to block first as she gets a feel for dark shadow's strength.

'Hes tougher than I originally thought' she thinks to herself 'it's a good thing I know a shadow's weakness'

She pushes the shadow back with and a lightning bolt strikes her as she transforms. She turns into a medium sized yellow dragon with electricity running across her scales.

She charges to tokoyami and spins around hitting dark shadow as he goes to shield him.

"No!" Yelled tokoyami "you know dark shadow's weakness?!"

Unable to answer in her dragon form, she tackles him with a head but he moves out of the way and sends another attack but it's been getting progressively weaker with the lightning.

Sakura rears back on two legs and crashes down sending electricity at him and he's unable to defend himself against and he's blown back barely going out of bounds.

'He's persistent i'll give him that" she thought.

Tokoyami gets up shaking before falling to one knee.
"I yield" he says. "I can't win"

TOKOYAMI YIELDS SAKURA TANGO IS OER SECOND FINALIST!!!!

Sakura shrinks back to her normal form and walks up to tokoyami and offers a hand. "That was a great fight" she said "I'd love to train with you sometime"

He takes it with a small smile. "I'll definitely appreciate that offer"

ALRIGHT EVERYBODY WE'RE TAKING A BREAK TO ALLOW OUR TWO FINALISTS PREPARE FOR THEIR MATCH WE'LL BE BACK!

SAKURA POV

I make my way back to the waiting room with a bottle of water in my hand slightly tired from today but still pumped up for the match with katsuki.

"I'm definitely gonna kick your ass" I hear him say and i smirk.

"We'll see about that hotshot" I replied "I've been wanting a redo match with you anyway"

He gets quite for a bit making me concerned. "You better not be sulking"

"What if I am" he says

I sigh. "Katsuki" I said "you know I forgave you about that"

"Doesn't mean I forgive myself"

"Well stop, you've come a long way since then and I have to admit I'm proud of you"

I hear the crowd start to cheer as the intercom hypes them all up.

"That's our cue" I said

"You better give me your all" he says "I'm not gonna be pulling any punches"

I smirk. "I couldn't ask for anything more" I replied "also I'm cutting off the mental link it wouldn't be fair if you can hear my plans and vise versa"

"Fine" he says "but you better put it back after"

"Yes sir"

I cut the mind link as I walk to the entrance of the hall and take a breath.

'Let's do this'

HERE WE ARE FOLKS THE FINAL MATCH TO DETERMINE THIS YEARS ANNUAL SPORTS FESTIVAL CHAMPION!!!!

I start walking out and onto the field and I see katsuki doing the same.

WHO WILL WIN WILL IT BE THE BOY WITH THE EXPLOSIONS OR THE GIRL WITH A HEART OF A DRAGON. CONTESTANTS GET READY.

"You ready for me to wipe the floor with you Pomeranian?" I ask katsuki with a smirk.

He looks at me with determination and a grin of his own. "I'd like to see you try scales"
