SAKURA POV

The new few weeks go by in a blur and soon enough the sports festival arrives. Class 1-A just finished getting ready and were waiting to walk out into the arena.

"This is so exciting" said uraraka "I can't believe we're about to complete in front of a bunch of pro heroes".

"Right!" Said mina "I can't wait to see how everything plays out"

I look out towards the opening to the arena and my nerves begin to get a grip on me.

'Deep breath' i thought 'just calm down, you'll be fine'

"Sakura- San are you ok?" Asked momo

I nod "just getting nervous is all"

"I'm sure youll do great" she said "you have suck an amazing quirk I bet you'll get a lot of agencies to choose from"

I just nod again and try to calm my nerves when I feel a cold hand on my shoulder. I turn to see shoto with a strange look on his face. "Shoto?"

"Sakura, midorya" he said "im going to say this now, but I'm going to beat you both no matter what"

We both look at him in surprise.

"What's with the sudden declaration of war?" Asked denki in the background.

"That's that all about shoto?" I ask

"I have to win and I want to piss off my father and not use my left side"

I look at his arm just realizing he's never really used his left side as far as I know.

"But don't you need it to regulate your temperature?" Asked izuku from next to me.

"I'll manage" he said "just remember that our there we're all enemies"

We all look at each other and we hear the loud voice of present mic.

"HELLO EVERYBODY AT WELCOME TO THUS YEARS ANNUAL SPORTS FESTIVAL"

I hear the crowd go crazy and I tune them out as they start calling the different classes.

"Alright everyone" said lidia from the front of the class "get ready for our class to be called and then we march!"

"YEAH"

"AND FOR OUR FINAL CLASS, THE GROUP THAT SURVIVED A VILLAIN ATTACK CLAAASSSS 1-A"

We all start walking down the hall and out into the arena and people were cheering everywhere, making me wince slightly due to my inhanced hearing.

"You ok?" Asked izuku from his spot next to me.

"Yeah just loud" i replied

"I forgot you have better hearing due to your quirk"

"It's a blessing and a curse"

"NOW THAT ALL THE CONTESTANTS ARE ON THE FIELD PLEAS WELCOME THE R RATED HERO MIDNIGHT"

A woman with long hair and a very revealing costume walks into the stage waving.

"Good morning everyone" she says "the sports festival consists of various challenges that eliminates the competition and at the end there is a series of matches of the qualifying contestants randomly paired up. But first let's hear from the first year representative.

We're all shocked when bakugo katsuki walks up on stage.

"Bakugo is the representative?!" Said enjiro

"I heard he did the best for the entrance exam" I said "maybe that's why?"

We all watch as bakugo clears his Throat and starts his speech.
