Chapter 43

SAKURA POV

Weeks turned into months and soon enough our hard work leads us to the day of the licensing exam.

We were all on the bus making our way to the facility for our tests and we were all tense with excitement and anxiousness.

I stare out the window as I watch the world blur by, shaking my knee restlessly as I bite at my nails.

"Oi scales" said Katsuki next to me as he places a hand on my knee. "You're making me nervous just be watching you"

I look at him. "Sorry katsuki" I said "I'm just nervous and scared and hopefully all at the same time, I never thought I'd get this far"

He looks at me for a moment. "You're definitely nervous if you used my actual name instead of some nickname you come up with" he said. "But I know you'll be fine"

I just nod as I look back out the window and noticed us pulling into a stadium parking lot. "I think we're here"

We all look forward as dad stands up in front of us.

"Alright" he said "when we get off we'll be joining the other schools and we'll start with the written part of the exam, after that you'll all change into your costumes for the physical tests"

He looks at us all.

"Do your best and you'll become heroes"

Everyone shouts in excitement and we start filing out of the bus.

I cling to my costume case as I follow behind dad. We get closer to the entrance and a woman with green hair stops dad.

"Mr. Aizawa!" She says cheerfully. "It's been such a long time!"

I hear dad sigh. "Hello Mrs. Joke" he said "I see your school will be participating in the exam with UA"

Mrs joke laughs with a nod. "That's right" she said "I can't wait to see your student's progress"

I walk away from their conversation and hurry after katsuki as we enter the building.

We place our cases down in the respective areas and we go to a room filled with students from all kinds of schools.

"This is amazing" I hear Enjiro say. "So many students participating"

I nod "it also means more competition" I said

We chat amongst ourselves till someone interrupts.

"HELLO UA!" Yelled a voice from behind me making me jump with a squeal.

I whip around and a tall kid wearing a large coat and a blue hat towering over me. I quickly back up next to katsuki as I rub my ears from the shouting.

"Was that really necessary?" I asked him as I look at him with a small glare.

The guy looks at me then bows hard, smacking his head into the ground making me jump again. "My apologies" he said "I just got super excited to see class 1-a here"

I look at him confused "do we know you?" I asked.

He straightened back up. "My name is inasa yourashi" he said "from shiketsu high"

"You're from shiketsu high?" Asked Enjiro "that's the second highest ranked school after UA"

Inasa nods. "That's right" he said "I'm looking forward to going against you all. I-" he cuts off as his eyes widen and his face twists in anger as he noticed something.

I follow his gaze and I just see shoto talking to izuku. "Is everything okay?" I asked

He snaps out of his trance. "If you'll excuse me" he said before walking away.
