Chapter 42

SAKURA POV

After practicing our ultimate moves we finished the rest of the school day and we were all leaving the school grounds.

I was walking to the dorms when I hear someone call my name.

"Oi scales" I hear katsuki call and I turn around with a smile.

"Hey firecracker" I said "everything okay?"

"Yeah just wanted to walk back with you" he said as he grabs my hand.

I blush slightly as I let him pull me along. "Also I saw some of the moves you were coming up with" I said "they were impressive"

"Thanks scales" he said as he looks at me. "Your moves were pretty badass, especially your meteor move"

"Since I can now fuse elements it seemed like it would be powerful"

He hums "it can definitely do some damage" he said "I'm proud of you"

My heart swells hearing those words and I jump onto his back and wrap my arms around him. "Thank you firecracker" I said "you've supported me this whole time and I appreciate it"

I feel a hand on my arm followed by a small squeeze.

"You deserve it scales" he said "you're working hard, maybe even harder than most of the extras"

I tear up a bit and I slip off his back. "What did I do to deserve you?"

Katsuki lets out a chuckle. "I asked myself the same thing all the time" he said as he looks at me before leaning down to kiss my forehead.

We walk hand in hand the rest of the way to the dorms and we enter the building to see everyone in the lobby sitting around chatting.

"Yo bakubro, Sakura" said Enjiro as he waves to us. "It's your guy's turn to make dinner, just a heads up"

I wave back at him. "Thanks for the reminder enji" I said "we're just gonna go change out of our uniforms"

He gives me a thumbs up before going back to the conversation.

I turn to katsuki and kiss him on the cheek. "I'll see you in a few" I said before heading back outside and flying up to my balcony.

I hum to myself as I walk into my room and strip out of my uniform. I go to my dresser and pull out a simple red t-shirt and a pair of black shorts.

"You know you should really make sure you're alone before undressing" said a raspy voice making me jump with a scream.

I whip around to see shigaraki on my bed with a sickening smile.

"H-how the hell did you get in here?" I ask as I cover myself with my wings and tail.

"Kurogiri of course" he replied

Should have known I thought.

"What do you want?"

"I just wanted to see how my starlight was doing" he said as he stands up and walk closer to me, making me back up till my back hits the dresser.

He places a hand under my chin and tilts my head to look up at him. "I could do so many things to you right now" he said as he leans closer into my face.

I try to pull away but he grips my face to keep me in place. "Leave" I growl "now before I make you"

Shigaraki chuckles darkly "my my, someone's gotten a bit bold are we" he says as he wraps his other hand around my waist pulling me closer to him.

I push his chest to get him away but he tightens his grip.

"You know I'm glad you're getting your bite back" he said before leaning down to my ear. "It makes it more fun to break you again"
