Chapter 38

BAKUGO POV

The next morning I'm woken up by a sliver of sen peaking through the curtains making me squint with a groan. I slowly opened my eyes and I look around the room, briefly forgetting I stayed with scales last night. I look down at the sleeping girl and I smile slightly when I see her still clinging to my shirt with her tail draped over my waist. I slowly and carefully slip out of her grasp and I see a pen and notebook on her desk.

I should probably leave a note in case she gets up and freaks out that I'm gone, i thought to myself as I flip to an empty page and scribble down a message letting her know I needed to head home and let the hag know I'm fine.

I pull the covers over her and I lightly kiss her forehead. "I'll be back soon" I whispered to her and she stirs a little and sighs in content once she's comfortable. I slip out of her room with one more glance at her and I gently close the door behind me.

When I turn around I'm met with a head of purple hair making me jump. "Jesus Christ" I said "fucking scared the hell out of me"

"Sorry" he said "are you leaving?"

I nod. "I gotta let the old hag know I'm safe" I replied "I left a note on scales' desk"

He nods. "The parents are downstairs and they wanted to talk to you once you were up." He then heads to another room and disappears into it.

I gulp knowing that their dad was bags and I was already intimidated. I quietly make my way down the stairs and I see bags and the blonde loud ass teacher from school.

"Good your up" said bags as he takes a sip of what I'm assuming was coffee. "Have a seat bakugo"

I walk to the empty seat across from them and I sit down with my fists clenched. "I do something wrong?" I asked.

"Oh not at all" said the blonde "we just have some questions regarding your relationship with Sakura"

I raise my eyebrows in confusion waiting for them to elaborate.

"When did you two get together?" The blonde asks leaning forward on his hands.

"Back at the sports festival" I said "I realized I wanted to be with her cause she's strong, and she isn't afraid to actually talk to me, and she keeps me calm"

They both nod as the blonde smiles.

"Do you regret making her lose control?" Asked bags as he eyed me.

"Every day, i know you told us not to push her and I was so eager to see her strength I didn't realize how much my words hurt her before it was too late" I look at the two. "I want to make it up to her and I want to show her that I'm not just an ass, that I want to be with her, and get stronger with her."

Bags nods with approval. "We see how happy she is with you" he said "she had changed for the better since you've helped her out of her shell. You've accepted her for what she is and you haven't judged her for it"

"She's been through a lot" I said "she's showed me her memories from her family and the lov, she didn't deserve any of it"

The two look at each other with the blonde grinning from ear to ear.

"Well you have our approval" he said before turning serious. "But if you do anything to hurt my firefly I will make you regret it"

I sweat dropped and nod, getting the message. "A-anyway" I said with a stutter. "I need to head home, I need to let my family know I'm ok" I stand up and head to the door "I left a note with scales for when she wakes up.

They give a slight wave. "Stay safe"

I was out the door and start making my way back home. What a strange family I thought with a smirk.
