Chapter 32

BAKUGO POV

The next morning I'm woken up by a phone ringing and I let out a groan as I opened my eyes and I stare at the ceiling for a second till I feel movement on my chest. I look down to see Sakura laying on my chest still asleep despite the noise aside from a furrow of her eyebrows. The phone continues to ring and reach over and I grab the one that was ringing not realizing it was hers.

I look at the screen and saw it was deku and I decided to answer it knowing scales will be worried about them from the other day.

"You all are fucking idiots you know that" I said as I put the phone up to my ear.

"K-kacchan?!" Said deku "i thought i called Sakura?"

"You did but she's still asleep" I said looking down at her. "You all really scared her you know that?"

I hear him sigh "we weren't trying to" he said "lida wanted revenge for his brother and I happened to find him. Todoroki happened to just follow the pinged location I sent"

"So that's what that shit was"

"Is Sakura alright now?"

"She had a panic attack when you sent your location cause she didn't know what was happening" I replied "almost had a second one after she turned the news on last night"

"So she saw them?"

"Unfortunately"

"Well I wanted to call her and let her know we're alright" he said

"I'll tell her ya damn nerd" I said before hanging up. I put the phone back on the table and look down at the sleeping dragon girl on my chest and I start running my fingers through her hair, barely touching her horns.

She stirs slightly and purrs a bit making me smile. She makes a small moan and she lifts her head up a bit and she rubs her eyes a bit as she starts to wake up. Looking around her eyes look at my chest then up to my eyes and she gives me a lazy smile that makes my heart skip a beat.

"M'ornin" she said, her voice thick with sleep. "I wasn't expecting you to be up"

"Your phone woke me up" I said, brushing a loose hair from her face. "It was deku, wanting to let you know they're all ok"

I see her breathe in relief as if a weight was lifted off her shoulders. "That's a relief" she said "I'm still gonna smack them all later."

I chuckle as she lays her head back down on my chest. "Isn't today the last day of internship?"

I nod "yeah, we head home tomorrow morning"

"That's kind of a bit of a shame" she said "despite his teaching methods best jeanist is good at his job"

"I'm still not happy about him messing with my hair"

She laughs. "I don't know" she said "it was funny when it was springing back to its original shape"

I playfully grab her horn and shove her lightly and she lets out a small moan making her blush in embarrassment.

"Your horns are sensitive too?" I asked with a smirk.

She hits me lightly as she hides her face. "It depends on how they're touched" she said "but that was so embarrassing!"

I just laugh and she rolls out of bed making me miss her warmth of her next to me.

"I'm gonna get dressed she said as she grabs her costume and disappears into the bathroom.

I lie in bed a little longer. 'That was hot'
