chapter 2

Sakura's pov:

I'm currently lying on my bed in the small room that ive been locked up in, recovering from the latest test to see how my transformations are affected by different drugs. It was extremely painful.

I've been living with the LOV for I think 7 years now and it's pure hell.

Everyday there is some type o fnew test or experiment that I'm forced to take part in. the worst one so far has been fighting with these creatures called Nomus, and they are supposed to be things that are strong enough to kill the number 1 hero, Allmight. I almost got killed by my first encounter, but they stopped it before it was too late.

'I hate it here' I thought to myself as I roll onto my side, ignoring the pain that winds its way throughout my body.

The sound of the door opening catches my attention and I look over to see Dabi walk into my room with what I believe are painkillers and water.

"hey little gecko" he says with a small smile as he closes the door behind him

I smile at the nickname he gave me when he found out about my quirk. "hey blue eyes" I said as I slowly sit up with a wince.

He takes a seat on my bed and hands me the water and pain pills. "how bad was it this time?" he asks with concern.

"not as bad as usual" I replied before taking the pills "but still hell"

He hums in response. "I wish I could help you out sis" he says "it hurts seeing you deal with their crap everyday"

Dabi is like the protective, older brother figure I never had and he's been helping me stay somewhat sane. He helps with my panic attacks and sometimes my cutting when he catches me and I appreciate everything he does for me

I shrug. "there's nothing to really for a monster like me"

He glares at me slightly. "Don't" he said sternly

"what?"

"call yourself that" he replies "you know that you're not a freak or a monster"

"..."

Dabi lets out a sigh and stands up. "I'll be back with your dinner" he says. "Don't get into trouble"

"not really my choice if I do" I replied with a smirk as I lay down a bit as the pills start to take affect.

He just rolls his eyes and leaves me to my thoughts.

After he leaves I sit back up and reach under my bed to pull out a small box that I keep razors and bandages in. I pull out a blade and make about 15 cuts, one for each drug they gave me along with2 more for making Dabi upset.

'I'm always causing people pain' I thought to myself as I carefully clean and wrap my arms.

I lay back down and close my eyes, wanting to sleep but life likes to be a bitch cause I hear the door open again,

'ugh, what now?'

I look back towards the door and I see shigaraki standing there creepily.

I quickly sit up. "w-what are you doing here?" I asked nervously.

Shigaraki has always made me uneasy. There was something about him that made alarms go off in my head whenever I was alone with him.

"I just thought id come see how you were doing stardust" he says as he makes his way towards me.

He gets to my bed and takes my face in his hand, avoiding 5 finger contact, as he lifts my face and brings his nose to my neck and sniffs me. "I also came to get a little something from you, if you know what I mean"

"Stop!" I yell as I try to shove him away, but he grabs my wrists and pushes me down, straddling my waist, while making sure my tail couldn't move, preventing me from escaping his grasp.

"now, now, " he says as he leans back to my neck, kissing it, making me shudder in fear and disgust. "you know better that to fight back"

Tears start to form In my eyes as I try to pull away. "p-please stop"

He lets out a dark chuckle and licks the side of my face as he runs a hand from my hip to my chest, making my top decay before squeezing my breast roughly making my cry out in pain. "Why would I stop?" he asks "I'm just getting started"

He grinds against me making me sob. "just do as I say" he tells me "following orders is all that a freak like you Is good for"

His hand travels towards the waistband of my pants when a voice stops.

"Hey Handyman" says a voice.

Shigaraki lets out a growl and looks over his shoulder and sees dabi at the door. "what do you want staple face?"

"The others are waiting for you about the next form of action"

With another frustrated growl shigaraki gets off of me, allowing me to wrap my wings around myself and curl up into a ball shaking in fear and relief.

I hear the sound of my door slamming followed by the rush of footsteps towards my bed. i feel the familiar warmth of Dabi's hand as he gently places his hand on my wing.

"Gecko" he says softly. "he's gone now."

I slowly unwrap myself to look at him seeing his worried face, and I instantly lauch myself at him wrapping my arms around him as I sob into his shirt.

He rubs my back softly and starts rocking me, whispering reassuring words to me.

'no' I thought 'it's nothing but empty words.... Ill never be free'

We sit there in silence until my crying settles down.

"Are you okay?" asks Dabi

I shake my head. "i-ill never be okay" I replied "I can't live like this anymore... I-I never wanted it to be like this"

"I know"

"i-I promised my mother that I would stay strong and live for her, b-but how c-can I if there's nothing to fight for"

I look up at Dab. "im ready to just give up on everything"

Dabi's pov:

I looked down at sakura in shock as she clings to me after what she had just told me.

'She wants to give up?' I thought as I hug her tighter 'I need to find a way to get her out of here, I can't lose her, not like this'

I've always seen sakura as a little sister ever since I joined the league. I've been her rock through her depression and her protector from the other members whenever I could.

"i-I don't know what to do anymore Dabi" I hear her say quietly, making my heart clench.

"just hang on a bit longer gecko" I said "im going to find a way to get you out of here"

She pulls away slightly and looks at me with shock. "W-what?"

"I can't watch you suffer like this anymore" I confess "I see you as a little sister and having to hear you scream and cry, seeing you in pain everyday... i-I can't bear it anymore." I place a hand on her head softly. "I promise I'm going to get you out of here"

Tears swell in her eyes again and she gives me another hug. "T-thank you" she says quietly "but how do you plan on getting me out?"

"I have an idea, but I need some time to make the arrangements" I replied before looking down at her. "you think you can hold on a little while longer?"

I feel her tremble a bit and hesitantly nods.

"i-I'll try"

"thanks gecko" I said "I love you sis."

"love you too Blue eyes"
