Chapter 50

SAKURA POV

Nighttime came too soon and it was time for the mission to commence.

Me, deku, and vermillion were waiting behind a large cargo container outside a warehouse, waiting for the signal to go.

"You kids ready?" Asked fat gum

I had connected everyone with a mind link so we could communicate without using devices that may be detectable.

"We're ready" I replied

There's a sudden explosion on the west side of the building, being the signal, and we take off to the gate with some of the other heroes.

We bust through the door and charge down the hallway.

A bunch of goons fill the hall and I turn my scaled green and stomped on the floor. Vines shoot out of the ground and entangle them, leaving them immobile.

"Nice kid" I hear dad say, making me smirk a bit before focusing again.

The floor gives out under the heroes and the all disappear and the floor closes up.

"Are you guys ok?" Asked izuku in slight panic.

"We're fine" said fatgum "just find Eri!"

The three of us keep running till we end up in a lab.

I start to tremble a bit when I see the blood covered metal table in the middle of the room.

"I'm not back at that place" i repeated in my head as I look around.

I sniff the air and the smell of fresh blood catches my attention.

"Vermillion, Deku" I said, getting their attention. "this way!"

They run after me as I chase the scent until we reach another chamber with a little girl on her knees crying.

"ERI!" yelled deku.

The little girl looks up. "Deku?" She says quietly. "Vermillion?"

The two boys nod as we run up to her.

"Eri are you alright?" Asked deku.

She nods. "You have to leave" she said panicked "he'll be back"

"What's wrong Eri?" Said a voice.

I turn to see a man in a green jacket wearing a plague doctor mask walk out of a dark corner.

I step in front putting the three behind me. "You did this to that poor child" I growled, bearing teeth.

He looks at me, his eyes narrowing. "What a disgusting animal" he said "it'll spread germs"

I slam my tail into the ground as I change into my dragon queen form as Izuku walks up next to me. "We're taking Eri from here" he said.

"Dragon heart" he says to me "take eir and Vermillion and get out of here, I'll handle overhaul"

"Are you sure?" I asked, not taking my eyes off overhaul.

"Yes" he said

I change back and back up to where Vermillion and Eri was.

"I'm going to get you two out of here" I said quietly.

Vermillion nods "what do you have in mind?"

I look down at Eri and give her a small smile

"Eri sweetheart" I said. "I'm dragonhear, one of Deku's friends, I'm going to turn into a dragon and you two are going to ride on my back okay?"
