Chapter 23

A few days later sakura is one again discharged from the hospital and she was getting dressed when she heard a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" She asks pilling her shirt over her head with a wince

"I-it's me sakura-Chan"

"Izuku?" She asks walking to the door and opening it to find an nervous green haired boy with a cast.

"Hi" he says "I heard you're going home today."

Sakura nods. "Someone should be here soon to take me home." She motions down to the sling. "What exactly happened to you?"

He gets nervous and scratches his head. "W-well you see" he stuttered "I just got my quirk recently so I have a hard time controlling it so when I use it I injure myself"

"That sounds painful" said Sakura and her scales turn green.

"W-what are you doing?" He asked as she places a hand on his arm.

Her hand lets off a soft green glow and izuku feels his arm mending and soon enough he was able to move his arm.

"That was amazing!" He said "I didn't know you could heal people" he pulls out a notebook from out of nowhere and starts scribbling away.

Sakura shrugs. "Something I don't really think about it" she replies "it depends on the situation and the injury"

Izuku nods as he continues to write.

Sakura just shakes her head in amusement and the doors open up and Hizashi walks in.

"Hiya kiddos" he said "ya ready to get going?"

Sakura nods and picks up her things. "I'll see you in class"

Izuku gives her a smile and waves. "Later Sakura"

SAKURA POV

Me and Hizashi make our way out of the hospital and to the car and I climb into the passenger seat.

"So how you feeling firefly?" He asks as he starts driving.

"I'm feeling a lot better" I replied and I adjusted in my seat with a small wince. "My wing is still a bit tender but doc said with how quick I've been healing it should me healed within a few days and my arm might be a little longer"

"That's good to hear, we're all glad the damage wasn't too severe, bad but not too bad"

I nod. "How is dad?" I asked not seeing much of the tired hero since the incident.

"He's alright" said Hizashi as we turn onto our street. "He's using his injuries as an excuse to sleep more"

I giggled. "Sounds about right"

We get to the house and shinso comes out to greet us.

He gives me a carful yet tight hug and I hug him back. "I'm so glad you're alright" he said as he let go of me "sorry I never came to see you I had to watch dad"

"It's fine" I said "I missed you big brother"

He smiles and takes my bag and we all go inside to find dad, still covered in bandages,on the couch watching tv with Shara in his lap.

"Dad!" I said as I run up to him and gently hug him.

"Hey kid" he said "glad you're doing better"

I nod as I sit next to him. "Are you feeling better?"

He nods and glances down at me. "I know you just got home but I wanted to let you know that the UA sports festival will be happening in a few weeks."

The sports festival was a big event where pros watch and pick recruits to take under their wings for internships.
