Chapter 22

SAKURA POV

'Where am I?' I thought as I saw nothing but black.

'I remember the villain attacking and I remember the nomu, but what happened after? Allmight was there and so was izuku and then i remember being carried. I smelled cinnamon again'

"Come on scales wake up"

I look around.

"Bakugo?" I call

"You need to wake up please"

I see a light in the distance and I start running.
'I'm coming bakugo' I thought as the light gets closer

I reach out for it 'I'm coming home'

I slowly open my eyes quickly closing them as I adjust to the sudden brightness making me groan.

I hear movement next to me and something warm covering my hand.

"Scales?" I hear bakugos voice in my head.

"Bakugo?"

I hear an intake of breath and some running and sliding of a door.

I hear voices but I can't quite make them out.

I try opening my eyes again and I gradually adjust to the light. I found myself in a white room with beeping machines and the familiar smell of bleach.

'Im back at the hospital'

I see movement in the corner of my eye and I slowly turn my head and I see crimson eyes looking back at me.

"Baku-go" I said, my voice rough and dry.

"Hey scales" he said softly as he reaches to the table next to me and gets me water. He holds the cup to my lips. "Drink" he said

I don't argue and I greedily drink the cool water, ignoring the small chuckle of bakugo. I finish the cup and he puts it back onto the table and sits back down.

I go to ask him about USJ but a bunch of doctors suddenly rush in and push him to the side.

A bunch of hands touch me and I start hyperventilating as I start getting overwhelmed.

"Will you all back the fuck up!"Shouted Bakugo pushing everyone back. "She just fucking woke up, one at a time for fuck sakes"

Some of the doctors glare at him and a familiar face push their way through the group of doctors

"Dr alto" I said with slight relief

"Hello again miss tango" he says with a smile "we really have to stop meeting like this"

"It wasn't my fault" I said

He nods "I was informed by the other hero's and students what happened and I'm sorry you had to go through all that" he said. he looks at my vitals and writes them down on a clipboard. He walks up to me "I'm going to poke and prod a bit to check some things alright?"

I nod and he starts feeling around asking me what hurts and what doesn't. I hiss when he gets to some spots by my ribs and my arm. He moves to my wings and carefully has me move up a bit with the help of bakugo. He touches the base and I let out a yelp and I grab bakugo as I close my eyes from the pain.

"Sorry" he says as he steps back and writes more. "So you appear to be healing nicely" he said "you've obviously broke a few ribs along with your left arm and your right wing as well as a tear at the base of the wing."
