BAKUGO POV
I sigh in relief as Allmight makes an appearance and I retreat back to deku who had scales propped up in his arms.
I feel my blood boil but I let it slide this time as I get a good look at her and her wing is limp and broken and her arm appears to be broken too, there was blood streaming out of multiple wounds that she received when she was in her dragon forms.
I notice her purple eyes fighting to stay open as she watched the scene unfold in front of her, her breathing shallow, probably from broken ribs.
Not wanting deku to hear me I mentally reach out.
"You should get some rest scales" i said calmly
She shakes her head slowly and hisses in regret.
"Not until I know they're gone"
"Tsk" I said and focus on almighty and chapstick.
"So you finally make an appearance Allmight" said chapped lips as he scratches his neck.
"I tried to get here sooner but there was a delay" allmight replied. "Now I would like you to leave the students alone and leave now"
"But we came all this way just for you" said chaps motioning to the nomu.
"What is that exactly?"
"This is Nomu he's a little experiment we've made to defeat you"
"Warn him about that things quirky" Sakura said
"Allmight" I said not taking my eyes off the Nomu. "That thing has a shock absorbing quirky, none of us were able to ya scratch on it
Allmight nods and turns his head slightly to look at scales and he lets out a low growl before turning back.
"You will pay for hurting these students like this" he said "I will personally see to your punishment"
The Nomu and almight suddenly charge at each other with fists raised and the collide sending a gust of wind in all directions.
Almight goes for a few punches, testing the beasts quirk.
"I'll say this beast is impressive" he said "but there's a flaw in its design"
He starts picking up speed with his punches and soon enough the Nomu gets blasted into the air.
"No" said chapstick as he starts scratching more furiously. "Nomu was supposed to beat you!" He tries to lunge at almight but is healed back by the warp villan.
"Young sir we must retreat" he said "the Nomu was a fail but there will be other opportunities"
The warp villan looks in our direction and I step forward, ready to blast him sky high.
Chapstick shrugs him of then he's shot in the leg by a random bullet.
I turn around and see a ton of heros finally arriving.
"About fucking time" I muttered under my breath as I relaxed.
I look back at the villans and the blue haired man was getting picked up by the other villans.
"This isn't over" he then looks at Sakura with a crazed smile and i step in front of her protectively .
"I'll be seeing you soon starlight" then they disappear into the purple mist.
I hear scales let out a scared whimper and I look to see her clinging to deku, wide eyed and shaking as she stared at the spot they disappeared
'The hell?'
I kneel down and take off the gauntlets from my costume and open my arms.
"Let me take her deku" I said gruffly.
He looks at me with uncertainty. "You sure kacchan?"
"I'll fucking take her!"
He lets me gently take scales, my heart aching as she hisses and whimpers in pain.
I carefully stand up and start walking to the exit.
"D-dad" she whispered softly
"Who?"
She points a shaky finger at sensei bags who was almost as bad as she was.
"Is he the one you were talking about earlier"
She nods as she leans her head against my chest.
"Oi deku, Allmight!" I tell "take care of bags"
The two look at who I was talking about and almight signals for some paramedics.
"Better?"
"Yes thank you"
She slowly starts drifting off her head bobbing.
"Get some sleep scales" I said "you definitely earned it today"
Without questioning it she falls asleep.
I get to the exit and a majority of the extras were already there and they all rush over to see scales and I get pissed.
"BACK THE HELL OFF YOU DAMN EXTRAS. SHE NEEDS A DAMN DOCTOR"
The back of and present mic quickly approaches, gasping when he saw the girl in my arms.
"W-wha" he stutters as he tries to form words.
"She went up against something they called a Nomu" I said "she was a badass"
He nods and yells for a medic and someone with a gurney Comes up and I carefully lay her down.
Once secured they take her away and into an ambulance and head to the hospital.
"Please be okay scales"
"What happened to me aizawa?" Asked mic
"He's in a similar state but he didn't take on the Nomu" I said. "They ambushed all of us"
He places a hand on my shoulder. "We'll let you know what the doctors say" he said before getting a bit closer. "Thank you for helping our daughter" then he walks away to go help elsewhere.
I look in the direction where the ambulance drove off to and I feel my chest tighten.
I won't let her suffer like that again
