Chapter 3 - Rosy Day

After taking about 5 minutes to himself, Felix put on as fake of a smile he could muster, and went downstairs to get Chan and Minho who were already waiting for him by the door.

They all got into the car, with Chan driving, Minho in the passenger seat, and Felix in the back looking out the window. They sat in silence since it was only about a 10 minute drive to the park they always went to.

Once they got there, they saw that all of Chan's and Minho's friends were already all hanging around the playground. Some were sitting on the swings smoking while the others were playing some childish games on the playground.

Felix couldn't help but smile. He really did enjoy hanging out with all of them. Well, most of them at least. Some had even grown to be like older brothers to him, but others he couldn't stand to even be around.

They were arrogant pricks who thought that everyone should be kissing their feet just for existing. Felix honestly didn't even know why Chan hung out with them, but he could never bring himself to bring it up and ask since he felt like it wasn't his place.

Felix got pulled out of his thoughts by the sound of the car door slamming shut. He only then realized he was the only one still sitting in the car, so he hurriedly unbuckled his seat and stepped out of the car.

Fresh air hit is face in an instant, and he couldn't help but close his eyes for a minute. This was exactly what he needed right now. He'd just have to try his best to avoid the pricks of people on this rosy day.

"Felix! I haven't seen you in forever!"

The said male opened his eyes to see one of the males that was on the playground running towards him with his arms out wide, indicating he wanted a hug.

Felix couldn't help but laugh as he also started running over to the other male. They both collided in a tight hug and fell to the ground laughing.

"We literally saw each other last week Innie, it's not like it's been decades or something" Felix said while still laughing.

"It felt like decades. I barely got to even talk to you last week since you were too busy gawking at Minho hyung the entire time" I.n said while helping the other to their feet.

Felix couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed by the comment.

"I was not. Actually you know what, fuck you"

"Alright, I'm kidding, don't be a bitch about it"

Felix had known I.n since their sophomore year in highschool. They still went to the same school together as seniors now.

I.n originally had a crush on Chan, so he approached Felix after learning he was his brother hoping for some advice on how to 'woo' Chan as he had said.

That crush was short lived, but him and Felix had become really good friends by then, so they continued hanging out. After a while, I.n and Chan also became friends and they still are to this day.

Felix thought of I.n like the little brother he never had, which is probably why they got so close as fast as they did.

I.n didn't officially know about Felix's crush on Minho since he never got it confirmed, but he had basically already figured it out, so he liked to tease Felix with it as much as he could.

"Let's go. I was just playing tag with Hyunjin and Changbin hyung. They'll be really happy to see you!"

"Tag? What are you, 5?"

"You want to play too, don't you?"

"Fuck yeah I do! But I call being not a tagger first. I can never catch any of you!"

As Felix and I.n made their way over to the others on the playground, Felix couldn't help but smile about how his mood could so easily change just by seeing one of his favorite people.

What he didn't know was just how easily his mood could get flipped right back around just as fast.
