NICO did a lot of questions, Cassie and Percy tried answering, key word tried.
Percy showed him his pen-sword.
"Cool! Does it ever run out of ink?"
"Um, well, I don't actually write with it."
Cassie imagined Percy at his school with his sword trying to write on a test, making her laugh.
He turned to Cassie. "Are you really the daughter of Eros? The chicken man?"
"Chicken man?" Cassie asked, amused.
"Yeah! Because he has wings, do you have wings?"
No, she did not. Truth to be told, Cassie didn't know how to use her powers- her father probably laughed, watching her attempts at charmspeak- much less have wings.
She gave him a half-smile. "Nope."
He then asked rapid questions, did Percy fight a lot with Thalia since she was a daughter of Zeus? Percy didn't say anything.
Why didn't Annabeth, being the daughter or Athena, know any better than to jump off a cliff? Cassie almost snapped at the kid.
Were Percy and Cassie dating? Both went as red as a tomato, but soon Cassie laughed it off. Percy looked like he wanted to strangle Nico.
All in all Nico was a cute kid, very hyperactive but a cute kid.
Before Percy could actually cause any bodily harm to Nico, Zoe Nightshade came up to them.
"Percy Jackson." She said with disgust, then she looked at Cassie up and down, as if she didn't know what to make of her. "Cassiopeia Bradbury."
Cassie admired beautiful things, and Zoë Nightshade was one of them, she had this regal aura, as if she were this princess from ancient times.
"Come with me," she said. "Lady Artemis wishes to speak with thou."
Cassie smiled at her, trying to make her smile too. "Aye aye captain."
Zoë Nighshade didn't laugh, or smile, but Cassie's grin didn't falter.
Zoë led them to the last tent, which looked no different from the others, and waved them inside.
Bianca di Angelo was seated next to the auburn-haired girl- Artemis.
Cassie had to breathe in very deep not to go Grover-mode with Artemis, what? Artemis was probably the coolest greek goddess out there, with Aphrodite and a couple others.
The inside of the tent was warm and comfortable. Silk rugs and pillows covered the floor.
In the center, a golden brazier of fire seemed to burn without fuel or smoke.
Behind the goddess, on a polished oak display stand, was her huge silver bow, carved to resemble gazelle horns.
The walls were hung with animal pelts: black bear, tiger, and several others Cassie didn't recognize. She felt sorry for those dead animals.
