IT all fit. The puzzle pieces slide into place, the remaining part of the painting was revealed.

She finally understood why Kronos had left her live for so long, it only made sense.

Late daughter of desire shall the doors of Olympus pry.

Kronos needed Cassie to open the doors of Olympus when the time came, and since she was the only daughter of the Eros, it had to be her.

Maybe she could...

"Cassie?"

Someone was calling her, but the voice seemed not there, like when you're underwater and someone calls for you.

Cassie tried to open her eyes, but her entire body hurt.

"I think she's awake," Annabeth said again.

Cassie heard footsteps, "she's regaining consciousness."

She finally opened her eyes, like a newborn baby that's just talking all in.

"Where are we?" She croaked.

"The Plaza's reception hall." Will Sollace answered, "here, drink." He handed her a glass of ambrosia- by the smell of it. "This should take care of the poison."

"Poison?" She said between sips.

"In the balde," Will simply answered.

When she had finished drinking Annabeth didn't waste time and gave her a hug.

"Annie, you're killing me- and Ethan already tried so..."

The blonde got away. "Oh right, yes, sorry. We were so worried and... yeah."

Will handed her a cube of nectar that Cassie ate in one go. "How are you feeling?"

"As if the minotaur walked over me."

"At least you didn't lose your sense of humour, that's good." Will said with a small smile.

She tried to get up. "Let's go."

Will laughed. "No way- you're not going into battle in this state."

Cassie tried to protest. "But I have to fight." She suddenly remembered Silena. "Where's Silena? I thought I heard her."

It bothered her, the way they had ended their last conversation, and the words she thought she heard before passing out. Cassie reminded herself they could talk after the battle was done.

Annabeth shared a look with Will. "They're with Percy, the Titan Prometheus drew up a white flag."

"What?"

Annabeth continued. "Thalia is with him too, but..."

Cassie's head began to pound, she couldn't hear Annabeth anymore, and a second after, she was out again.
