LUKE left the room after Cassie had thrown him her pillow, it didn't do any harm, but Cassie's message was clear; she didn't want to talk.

The last twenty-hour had been nothing short of crazy, for starters, Percy had kissed her. Cassie had to force herself from smiling.

Then the explosion, and then Luke, blah blah blah.

She thought of Grover, Tyson and Annabeth. She knew they were safe, and hoped Percy would be too.

After getting over the initial shock that was seeing Luke there (and what happened at Mount St Helen's) she knew she had to figure something out.

Charmspeak had never worked with Luke, he was strong in that sense, and he had Kronos in him- which honestly was very weird.

And she couldn't use the heartbeat, he had Kronos in him, she couldn't kill a titan- and she was too weak to kill Luke.

She got off the bed and began looking around, there was only the bed and the bedside table, that had nothing on it, the rest of the room was empty too.

She tried moving the bed to block the door, but it seemed stuck, she tried with the bedside table, nothing again.

Cassie didn't panic (she did, but only for a minute). If they wanted to kill her they would've done it already (or she hoped so).

She palmed her clothes, her clip wasn't there, but it always came back. She rummaged deep into her pockets and that's when she found it.

She pulled the black pool ball with the eight painted on it, the Stolls had given her. Whatever it was it could be useful.

It was suspicious that Luke hadn't found it, but it was deep in her pocket and looked average, maybe he didn't notice?

The only way out was through the door, that much was clear. But she had to figure out where she was, the Princess Andromeda, the maze, or somewhere else.

It would be complicated to build a room in a Labyrinth that was constantly changing, so the safest bet was the Princes Andromeda or somewhere else on land.

Cassie was proud of herself, and she knew Annabeth would be too, she was thinking an awful lot for Cassie standards.

There were two sharp knocks at the door, before it opened. Cassie tried to peek but the door closed quickly.

It was Luke, again.

He sat on the bed as if he owned the place, which he kind of did.
