CASSIE and her friends were halfway through the courtyard when someone- or something- called her name.
She strayed from her friends, and followed the voice, as if she were in a trance.
She found herself in a small courtyard, hidden from the main courtyard. Cassie tried to leave, but she didn't remember how she had gotten in.
It kind of looked like a greek temple, but as if the walls and floor had been hollowed, and only the outer structure remained.
Lilies, white sunflowers, roses, spider-lilies, and all sorts of flowers lined the grassy floor of the temple. There were even hanging plants, ivy wrapping around a greek column, with smaller white flowers decorating it.
You could see the stars of Olympus, thousand of shiny stars, constellations, lining the night sky.
"Cassiopeia."
She bolted around, it was her father. "Hi."
He smiled at her, pride shunning in his eyes. "You've fought with bravery. I'm proud to call you my daughter."
Cassie smiled, "thanks."
He briefly glanced at her bracelet- the new Kairos. "I suppose not everything has to end in tragedy." He paused. "Killian was here, by the way."
Cassie tensed at the mention of her half-brother, and immediately felt horrible for forgetting him. "He's back in the Underworld?"
Eros shrugged, "I suppose."
Before Cassie could answer Eros closed his eyes, briefly, and then... a holographic pink arrow- the same one from when she had been claimed- flew around her and entered her heart.
She stared at where it had disappeared, "what..."
Her father smiled, "one final present, the blessing of Arkhaios Eros, you've earned it, Cassiopeia."
Her father turned around, Cassie hesitated, but she called after him. "It's Cassie, not Cassiopeia- what a mouthful anyways- just Cassie."
Her father smiled, "good night, Cassie."
She was alone in the small courtyard, but not for long.
Percy appeared from in between a bush, slightly flushed, and slightly disoriented.
