𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨: mentions of incest in relation to Greek mythology ( putting this here now before we get into it, but I'm like 90% sure no one surprised by this considering this book series is tied to Greek mythology and that's just a dumpster fire of incest.)
- Zeus and Hera
⇢ I don't have a lot in mind for this concept, but I was struck with an idea. The idea begin that Zeus could have, at rare point in time, actually been faithful and loving towards his wife and his family; this begin due to the fact that Amaltheia was apart of Olympus and brought this pillar of peace and love with her. Like Olympus was in it's ultimate prime when she was apart of it. But, I can see Amaltheia maybe getting killed or thrown to an unreachable place in Tartarus. Which I why Zeus turned into the literal worst person and Hera marriage failing epically and Olympus going to war all the time. I could see maybe during the events of Mark of Athena/House of Hades that Percy and them find her, if it's the tartarus route.- Hades and Persephone
⇢ Before Hades ever stole Persephone and brought her to the Underworld, and way before she chose to bite into the pomegranate that would seal her fate, and even before there was ruler to the Underworld, Hades had loved another. A love that fostered by the pains they endured because of their father and begin unable to escape that misery. But, like a dying name on the wind, Amaltheia had immediately taken off as soon as they were freed from Kronos's grasp. Hades never saw her again. And Hades eventually he grew lonely again and he than had found love again with Persephone. Fast forward to present day, Amaltheia surfaces under the name Thea Amais and is dead set on helping the demigods end the titan war/stopping their father for good.- Apollo and Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase
⇢ No real concept yet, but I do like the dynamic we kinda seen between these guys (and I'll admit I've read some amazing fics on this duo. Although, most people write it as v formation poly couple - meaning Percy dating both these beautiful idiots, but Annabeth and Apollo are not romantically involved with each other.) I do think it'd be fun to explore them as couple and maybe to explore the after effects of the war with them.- Luke Castellan and Percy Jackson
⇢ I love the concept of Thea getting a chance to kill her father and save Luke in the process. I also think having Luke tied to a goddess who's sorta a bit of a patchwork of Hera domains and Hestia domains. Not to mention having Percy, who's whole things is loyalty and family and such, in the throws of it all would be interesting. I will say, I'm not the hugest fan of the whole Luke/Percy ship, but I do think in certain contexts it could be fairly fascinating. Like if Percy takes immortality in this could be something that could be explored. Like his life as a god and how he makes changes to things. And on the flip side, it'd be fascinating to explore how Luke combats with the other gods begin well gods and seeing him having proper family dynamic with his dad and Thalia and such things.
