Here's the official character / world building notes on Cordelia Dare and her fic !

- Cordelia and Percy are best friends despite the fact that both of their fathers are constantly fighting each other. Cordelia, Percy, and Tyson regard each other as each other's siblings since the three of them are all children of ocean gods.
- Technically speaking, Percy and Cordelia are reflection of their fathers power (Oceanus is inherently stronger than Poseidon since he predates the primordial and is a titan as welll, but like all gods the power of people believing in them plays into effec); So, with that said, Percy's ocean powers are weaker than Cordelia's ocean powers. But, while Cordelia may have the stronger abilities, Percy is the better physical fighter. It should also be noted that she is less of a fighter and more of a healer.
- Cordelia has really close relationship with both her father and her grandfather. She even helped her grandfather with his quest to get his immortality back and has done a few quests for her father. Due to this, Apollo and Oceanus play very active roles in her life and often randomly check up on the girl.
- All demigods can't be compelled by vampires due to their godly power/nature. This is especially true for children of Aphrodite (due to them having charm speak), children of Apollo (due to begin able to see truth) and children of Hades (since they have divine power over creatures like vampires)
- Cordelia was blessed by Hera after the first war due to the fact that she never sided with the titans (despite Kronos begin able to convince her father to work with him) and for working with Percy (despite their fathers feuding and knowing their fathers could take it as personal betrayals; although, neither sea god would ever dare think that as both absolutely love their children and begrudgingly put up with their friendship - honestly Percy and Cordelia's friendship is what slightly holds back Oceanus and Poseidon from completely destroying each other whenever they do fight.)
- Marcel knew of the Levesque family back 1930's as he had long taken over New Orleans by this time. Marie Levesque wasn't the typical witch as she actually worked with the likes of Hecate and later had relationship with Pluto himself. Despite being closer to a demigod than a witch, Marcel and the rest of the vampires regarded her as plain witch as they were very unaware of the demigod world (and still are).
- Cordelia, much like the ocean foam that birthed Aphrodite just by having severed genitals of Uranus thrown into its waters, is super fertile. Which means that she can get pregnant from sleeping with any vampire, even though it's impossible for vampires (outside of the Klaus Mikaelson since he's a hybrid) to have kids, her godly powers make it possible.
- Cordelia's adopted parents, the Dare's, found out about the demigod war just after the titan war when Rachel became the Oracle and Cordelia was granted more power via Hera's blessing. This is mostly due to influx of responsibility from both girls, especially Cordelia as Percy would go missing in this time and she felt heavily responsible/pressured to be the one to find the son of Poseidon.
- Cordelia's biological mother, Solana Cullen, was from New Orleans which is why she ends up there after her quest with Apollo. She oddly felt compelled to go to New Orleans to Seeger mother's old home; she felt as though she was searching for apart of herself - a part of her family that was missing. Cordelia has since found out that Hera had put the idea of New Orleans into her head and the goddess of marriage and family was immensely instrumental in leading Cordelia down the path that crossed with one Klaus Mikealson.
- She fights with a plain celestial bronzes sword, pure godly sliver daggers (something she had made after their encounter with Lycaon the king of werewolves.), and a bow that was gifted to her by Apollo himself. Her bronzes sword hides itself as ring, her two sliver daggers hide themselves as two hair clips and her bow hides itself as a bow and arrow charm on a necklace that she can easily rip off at anytime.
- Cordelia is fairly close friends with most of the seven. Although given that she's at least five years older than most of them (if not older to some of the other members), she has a bit of a hard time relating to certain aspects of them. Not to mention the fact that she is the daughter of Titan (one of the far older ones at that), while the entirety of the seven are all children of primordials.
- Cordelia has very close relationship with her adopted family. Despite Rachel and Cordelia not seeing eye to eye on certain things, they do have each other back constantly and would move heaven and earth for each other.
