I would love to hear who you guys would prefer as Melanie Faeth's love interest ! I gave a few reasons why I could see each pairing idea working out

Chris Rodriguez and Clarisse La Rue?
- I can see Clarisse and Melanie vibing over fighting. Like Clarisse is a daughter of the god of war and Melanie is an adventure (which their whole thing is fighting/killing evil), so they'd definitely be able to get each other and have a lot of shared interests.
- In a similar vein, I think that's why Chris and her could work to. Like Chris is the son of Hermes, who's a trickster god, and Melanie is the daughter of an archdevil and their whole deal is rebelling and causing mayhem/chaos. They would be such a chaotic duo.
Piper Maclean, Reyna Avila Ramirez, and Jason Grace?
- I can definitely see Piper and Her begin able to relate to each other though their shared experiences of people not wholly understanding them and making so many assumptions about them. Like Piper has her whole deal with her family and stuff, and Melanie has her whole deal with begin an archdevil that comes from an adopted family. They both also carry a lot of familial angst that could certainly bring them together.
- I feel like with someone as chaotic and rebellious as Melanie is, she'd need someone who follows rules and could possibly pull her back before she goes too far. I think Reyna would also need someone who isn't afraid of helping learn to truly let loose and go absolutely wild and just give her unconditional love/support.
- I feel like Jason is somewhere between Reyna and Piper's reasonings.
Percy Jackson and Nico Di Angelo ? ( note. Nico and Melanie would just be a queerplatonic relationship )
- Percy and Melanie would be such a chaotic pair with an unfathomable amount of sassy and sarcastic commentary. They both have such matching energies and would be so playful with each other. They both also have been through so much shit in such a short time, so I can see them begin able to relate to each other through that scope of things. They also have strong prioritization in loyalties to their friends.
- Nico and Melanie would certainly be interesting in terms that their both kids of begins from each other's equivalents of hell. Like Melanie is literally the daughter of an archdevil and Nico is the son of Hades. I can see them relating to each though people's misunderstanding and assumptions about their parentage. I can also see them begin able to bound over their shared trauma like siblings dying ( although, Melanie has been able to bring her sister back from the dead multiple times due to magic of her realm. But she at least understands the grief and pain of loose in way that only people who lost siblings would understand.) Also they both share a sort of goth/punk aesthetic so they'd definitely would vibe over that too.
