- Caterina has known George since they were mere children. The Armani family have always been high social figures and often rubbed shoulders with all of the upper class and even the British Royal family in particular. Caterina was actually given the role of Lady In Waiting for Queen Charlotte since her mother was the Lady In Waiting for the previous Queen.
- All of Caterina's family died of sickness when she was seventeen; she barley survived the sickness herself. After such a tragedy, she was put in a weird situation as she had no living relatives (specifically that of male relatives) and Caterina wasn't remotely engaged at the time. Which was considered a big problem as woman like herself had no control over money or land property and such things. Caterina would have just been married off and her families wealth had off to said suitor, but fortunately for her, the crown did not let that happen, She was instead thrusted into work within the castle as a temporary Lady In Waiting for the than former queen. Due to her role, Caterina marriage prospects are considered to be in the hands of the Lady that she severs. And, as for her money and land properties, they are temporarily in the hands of the king due to her role and her family situation.
- George is the direct reason that Caterina was never forced to be married off to someone who she would not love and would be made against her will to have kids with and loose all her families money to some (ill suited, in George's opinion) suitor. So, he forced his mother's hand to prevent such a thing happen to the girl who already went through too much. George agreed to go along with whatever his mother would want him to do, but in return, she had to protect Caterina from a miserable life. His mother begrudgingly accepted as she knew that George could make things ten times for her, but she also wanted him happy and if that meant making sure his one friend was happy than so be it. Although, the queen was suspicious of George's relationship with Caterina; which their relationship was only ever platonic before his arranged marriage to Charlotte.
- Caterina often misses her home back in Venice and a part of her wants to go back, but she has ultimately never returned back to it. Caterina has not returned back to Venice due to having no friends or any family left there. She knows visiting there would be too hard on her as it would just remind her of all that she has lost as well as remind her of the things that she doesn't have back in Britain.
- For Caterina's eighteenth birthday, George gifted her a small silver bracelet with a charm that is of a silhouette of cat on it. He got her that particular bracelet as a small inside joke between them as she tends to get called Cat by her close friends.
- Charlotte held some hesitation and tension towards Caterina at first. This is mainly due to the fact that Charlotte felt as though her Lady In Waiting had romantic feelings for her husband. What made matters worse was George's behavior and the fact that Caterina knew way more about George than that of herself. Although, Caterina feelings for George was bit complex at the time, she always acted formally and never put her own feeling first. She knew that she was his friend first and nothing more.
- Charlotte and Caterina were able to bond over the fact they were 'outsiders' to the British polite society. Caterina hailing from Italy and Charlotte hailing from Germany, they both grew up in societies that are not quite like British society. Which is something that Charlotte was able to find comfort in as Caterina actually understood what she meant when talking about her issues with how people acted and traditions. And Caterina was able to help her maneuverer society with Lady Danbury help.
- Caterina has for while now known that she goes both ways in terms of sexual attraction. She has secretly had both a female and male flings when she was a teen. She's never really committed to relationship as they never felt right. All her past relationships have either felt like just generally wrong people that she could not see herself with or like a piece of some puzzle begin missing.
- Even though Caterina is a noble born who works the crown and had the many privileges that comes with such social titles, Caterina tends to do things that aren't fitting of such things. Like the fact that she likes to cook for herself at times. Whilst she has nothing but; compassion, empathy and respect for their cooks; but they lack the knowledge of her family's traditional recipes and some of the skills to remake said Italian recipes.
- Caterina tends to wear her hair up in updos since she has very long wavy hair and tends to be active person, so in rare moments that she does wear her hair down, it can be rather distracting as it really enhances her beauty and shows a certain side of her that it is so rarely seen. One of first times Charlotte realizes her feelings for Caterina is when she sees her with hair down as she sits in their garden reading.
- Caterina likes to give those she's very close to cute Italian nicknames. She has given George the nickname, tesoro (my treasure). Caterina will eventually give Charlotte the nickname, mon amour (my love). For a long while, Caterina has refused to translate the nicknames for either of them due to her begin embarrassed.
