I've always hated you

New girl

"Hey dad we need to go to school earlier tomorrow" said Sokka to Hakoda
"How come?"
"I just got an email from the principal saying that there's going to be a new student and they want me to be her chaperone and accompany her"
"Oh well that's nice. I'm guessing you need to go earlier to meet her then"
"Yeah I guess so. Anyways, I'll see how it goes tomorrow"

Sokka got to school early that next day and walked into the principal's office. He saw a girl already sitting in one of the chairs in front of his desk.
"Good morning" said Sokka
"Oh good, you're here. Sokka meet the new student, Yue" the principal told him.

The new girl turned around and Sokka saw her face for the first time. She had blue eyes, a pretty smile and this platinum hair that looked white.

"Hey, I'm Sokka" he says to her and reaches out his hand.
"Hi, I'm Yue" she responds and shakes his hand
"Yue is new here, she moved from another city. Sokka, I picked you to be her chaperone and welcome buddy because you're a friendly person and a good student" said the principal.
"Thank you sir, I'll make sure she has a good welcome here"
"Wonderful. You two will be in the same class. Keep her company and introduce her to new people"
"Of course"
"Now you guys can go"
"Yes sir" Sokka says as he exists the office with Yue.

"So Yue, we start in English" Sokka says to her
"Yeah I got my schedule this morning. Is English fun?"
"It's one of the better classes. I have a few friends in the group so I'll introduce them to you"
"Sounds great"

Sokka smiled at her and then she smiled back. She couldn't help but find him really cute and he seemed like a sweet guy. She's happy he was the one that was going to be her welcome buddy. Maybe it could lead to something she thought.

They walk into the English class together before the bell.
"There aren't really assigned seats in this class so we can sit wherever. I see my friends sitting back there so let's join them so I could introduce you" says Sokka. He then goes to the back of the class and sits at the open desk next to Azula and Yue sits on the other desk next to him.

"Sokka who's this?" Asks Azula
"This is Yue, she's new here. I was asked to be her welcome buddy. Yue, this is Mai, Ty lee and Azula" he says while introducing her to them.
"Hi everyone, nice to meet you guys. Sokka's been super nice to me so far and it's nice that he's introducing me to his friends" Yue responds
"Hey I really love your hair. Is that its natural colour?" Asks Ty lee
"Yeah it is actually" Yue responds.

Yue already started noting how these girls were acting. Ty lee was super sweet and talkative. Mai was quiet and had a bored look on her face but she seemed nice. Then there was Azula... she noticed something off about her. She wasn't talking a lot to her either, but unlike Mai, she seemed more intimidating. Yue got the impression that she was judging her... she was surprised that Sokka was friends with her.

"How come you changed schools two months in?" Was the first thing Azula said
"Oh well my dad got a job here" Yue responded
"Ah, I see"

Soon enough, the bell rang and the teacher started talking.
"So class, you probably noticed that we have a new student. Her name is Yue and she'll be in your class for the rest of the year so be welcoming" ,said the teacher, "Anyways, for today just split up into the same groups as last class and continue the work. Yue you can join Sokka's group"

The class paired off and Sokka, Yue, Azula, Mai and Ty lee were working together.
"Hey Sokka, you want to come over to my house tonight?" Asks Azula while they're working.
"Sure, I could come by"
"Great, come around 5 because my parents are going out somewhere"
"Ah cool, I'll be there" he says and smiles at her
"Perfect" she says as she kisses him on the cheek.

Yue was a little confused... were they a couple? They seemed like an odd pair. How long have they been together? Sokka never mentioned that he had a girlfriend.

"So you two are dating?" Asks Yue
"Yup" replies Azula dryly
"For how long?"
"Around two weeks now"
"Ah ok. How did you two get together?"
"Uhhh long story..." says Sokka
"Why do you even want to know?" Says Azula a little coldly
"Just asking..."

In Yue's opinion Azula seemed like the type of girl that was just planning on being with Sokka for a few weeks until she had her fun with him and then she'd dump him. Sokka deserved better than a girl like Azula, he deserved someone like her.

They now had math class and Yue was sat next to a girl with short brown hair. The teacher told them to do some review sheets with the person next to them. The girl with the brown hair stuck her desk to Yue's.

"So you're new here?" The girl said
"Yeah it's my first day. I'm Yue"
"Hey, I'm Suki. So I see Sokka is your welcome buddy. What do you think of him?"
"Oh well he seems super nice and sweet. He introduced me to the people he hangs out with and they seem cool too... except for his girlfriend"
"Oh Azula? Yeah she's absolutely awful. Let me tell you a little story: Sokka and I actually dated for a little bit"
"Wait really?!"
"Yeah, until she came along and seduced him and stole him away"
"For real?"
"Oh yeah. They've always hated each other and then suddenly she shows interest once he starts dating me. She's such an evil bitch I swear"
"Yeah she sounds like one. I can't believe she did that"
"The day after I found out I totally beat her up for it. We got suspended but it was so worth it. She didn't even feel bad at all. She was mocking me in front of my parents and hers too"
"Wow she sounds terrible"
"Yeah nobody likes her... well except for the guys. They go absolutely crazy for her cause she's sort of hot or whatever. Anyways, if you're interested in Sokka you should totally go for him. I'd love to see how she likes it when someone steals her man away from her"
"Really? You think I should go after Sokka?"
"Totally. That bitch needs be knocked down a few pegs"
"Ok then, I'll try to get close to him"
"Great. I'm glad I meet you, I can tell we'll get along really well"
