I've always hated you

The party

Azula, Ty lee, Mai and Zuko all arrive at the party together and are greeted at the door by the host.

"Hey! I'm glad you guys could make it!" He exclaims and then hugs Azula.
"Oh! Um thanks for inviting us..." Azula says slightly uncomfortable.
He lets go of her. "Come in, come in. I hope you guys have fun and enjoys yourselves! There are snacks and drinks and later we'll play some games!"
"Ok cool"
They all walk in together. It's kind of dark and there's loud music playing. They can see many people talking or dancing and having fun. They even spot Sokka in the crowd talking to a girl.

"Hey who's Sokka talking to?" Zuko asks
"Oh just some annoying girl in our class named Suki. Why Zuzu? You jealous or something?" Azula says to tease him.
"No I'm not jealous! I'm just asking because I get along well with Sokka and he's my friend"
"Ugh I don't know how you could be friends with someone as annoying and insufferable as him"
"Yeah I can say the same about Mai and Ty lee being friends with you"
"Oh shut up. If Mai were never my friend then you probably wouldn't have a girlfriend right now. I don't know how she could've possibly liked someone like you though"
"Well sometimes you guys can both be annoying" says Mai.
"Hey, that isn't nice" says Zuko back to her.
"Don't worry, you're very sweet too" Mai says and places a kiss on his cheek.
"Ew, you guys make me want to barf... I'm going to go get a drink or something" Azula says as she walks off somewhere else.

Sometimes she liked to just walk off and be on her own, it was peaceful. Although it's pretty hard to get peace and be alone while at a party.
Her attempt at peace was especially disturbed after someone had bumped into her.

"Oh I'm sorry- oh it's you..." says the person that bumped into her.
She quickly realized it was Sokka that just collided with her. "Do you not look where you're going, you big idiot?"
"Yeah yeah, it was an accident. As if I would want to run in to you and be forced to interact with you. I just came to the kitchen to come get a drink for Suki and I" he replied.
"Ok, good for you. Is Suki your girlfriend or something?"
"What? No she's not my girlfriend" Sokka says with a slight blush on his cheeks. "Why do you care?"
"I don't"
"Ok then, it would be weird if you did..." Sokka says and grabs two cans of Pepsi from the fridge.
"Yeah that's why I don't... bye now"
"Yeah yeah, bye" he says as he walks off.

After around another hour or so, the host of the party stand up on the table to make an announcement.
"Hey everyone! Whoever is down to play spin the bottle come sit in the living room!" He said and then hopped off the table and went to the living room.
"Hm, I'll go because I'm a little bored" thought Azula.
She heads to the living room and sees around 20 other people, mainly guys, gathered in the living room. She also spots Sokka with Suki. She really hopes she won't have to kiss Sokka.

The host of the party started talking again. "Ok so most people know how this works but basically you spin a bottle and have to kiss whoever it lands it. And to make it funner, the kiss has to last 5-10 seconds minimum. Everyone gets at least one turn with the bottle. I'll go first" he explains and then spins the bottle and lands on this one girl. They both kiss and then the bottle got passed one to the next person and the next and the next, until it was Sokka's turn.

He spun the bottle, slightly nervous about who he might have to kiss. He just looked at the bottle spin and spin and spin until it slowed down and pointed at... Suki! "Oh thank god. I was hoping to get her above most people here" he thought to himself. He turned to face her, both of them blushing pretty hard, and then kissed her.

"Ew, that's so gross. I don't know how she's not throwing up after having to kiss Sokka" thought Azula. She was probably the only one thinking that though because a lot of the other girls there were quite disappointed about the bottle that Sokka spun not landing on them. Truth was that Sokka was very popular with the girls at the school, they're just more subtle than the guys that liked Azula.

After a few more people it was Azula's turn. Surprisingly, the bottle hadn't landed on her yet so she didn't have to kiss anyone so far. She grabbed the bottle and spun it. Every guy there was crossing his fingers and hoping that the bottle would land on them so that they get to kiss her but the bottle landed on the one person that was hoping the opposite: Sokka.

"Fuck no! I'm not kissing him!" Exclaimed Azula
"You have to, that's the game" said one person. "Yeah just do it! It's just a little kiss!" Said another.
"Ugh oh my god fine... fuck my life" she said as she made her way over to Sokka.

He didn't look thrilled about kissing her either. They awkwardly looked into each other's eyes before closing them and leaning in to kiss. Their lips collided and they kissed for a good 5 to 10 seconds before breaking apart.

"Ewwww! That was the most disgusting thing ever!" Said Azula.
"Oh god that was awful!" Sokka also said.
"Dude how are you mad about kissing Azula?! She's like the hottest girl ever!" Said one of the guys.
"Ugh no, I hated it!" Sokka replied
"Ew yeah me too. I'm not going to play this game anymore" she said as she got up and left the spin the bottle circle.

"Ew I can't believe I just kissed Sokka!" She thought to herself. She had kissed the boy she hated the most. Truth is, the kiss itself wasn't that bad, she just didn't like who she was kissing. Yeah he's a cute guy but he annoys her and she hates him way too much to ever enjoying kissing him.

After a bit more time, the party started dying down and teens started to leave and go home. Sokka and Azula both went home, still thinking about the kiss they shared.
