Intervention

"I can't believe you're making me do this" said Azula. Her and Ozai were walking into a building where a psychiatrist's office was. They decided to book an appointment for her to try to fix her behaviour and possibly find out if there's anything going on.
"I think it's a good idea. Maybe you might not want to talk about stuff to us so maybe a third party would be better. She can help you with stuff"
"I don't have any problems dad! This is so stupid, I can't believe you're forcing me!"
"It'll be to vent, go inside"
"Ugh fine! I hate this already..." Azula said as she walked into the lady's office.

"Oh you must be Azula, take a seat" she said
"Ok..." she says as she sits in a chair across for the psychiatrist.
"I'm Dr.Smith, your parents have already told me a little about you. Are there any things you want to talk about?"
"No, I don't want to be here" said Azula unamused.
"Ok well your parents told me a few things... how about the situation with your boyfriend?"
"What about him?"
"Well the way you two got together"
"What about it?"
"Well he was being unfaithful to his girlfriend with you and then left her for you"
"So?"
"Well how do you feel? Do you feel bad about ruining someone's relationship and that girl must've been hurt"
"I don't care and she deserved it"
"Oh so you did it out of spite?"
"No I didn't. God you don't know anything"
"Well I'm trying to know but you're not telling me much"
"Ugh my god fine, I'll give you the rundown... Sokka is my boyfriend. For the longest time we've hated each other and never got along"
"How come?"
"Because we just didn't! Can you let me finish?! As I was saying... we never got along but one day something happened and slept together. We said it would never happened again but it did, twice. Then Sokka got a little girlfriend but that didn't stop us from sleeping together again. We did it a few times before I actually told her. She was super sad and ran off. The next day in class she attacked me. I kicked her ass and from that day on I've been in a relationship with Sokka"
"Oh wow ok... and you didn't feel bad about sleeping with another girl's boyfriend?"
"Why would I feel bad?"
"Well because it's a pretty bad feeling to get cheated on. She probably felt hurt and betrayed"
"I don't care about her. She's such a bitch to me so why would I care"
"Ok..." she says as she writes something down in a notebook.
"What are you writing?"
"Just some notes"
"You're writing bad stuff about me, aren't you?! Look, I didn't even want to come here in the first place! I don't feel bad about the stuff I've done and I don't care what people think!"
"Ok Azula, calm down, I'm not writing down anything bad"
"Yes you are! You're probably saying how I'm a horrible and selfish person!"
"I'm not saying any of that Azula, I'm just taking notes on our conversation"
"Bullshit!"
"It isn't. Anyways, how are things with him now? Do you get along well with him?"
"Well yeah, he's my boyfriend. Actually right I'm mad at him though"
"How come?"
"Because two weeks ago this stupid new girl named Yue came to our school and Sokka was her welcome buddy. She clings to him more than I do and she obviously has a crush on him but he doesn't realize it! Like he's just letting her flirt with him and stuff!"
"So let me get this right... you're mad at Sokka because another girl is always around him and flirting with him?"
"Yes and he doesn't realize"
"Ok and how does seeing him with her make you feel?"
"Oh my god it's so annoying! Like how blind can he be?! I've straight up told him to his face and I bet he still doesn't see it!"
"So you would say it bothers you to see him with this girl?"
"I guess so"
"And let's say something were to happen between them while you two are still together, how would you feel?"
"Well really mad and I guess upset- wait a minute! You're tricking me! You're trying to make me look like a hypocrite!"
"Well Azula you're getting mad because there's another girl but at one point you were the other girl"
"That's different! That was behind her back, this is right in front of my face! It's worse!"
"No it isn't because nothing, that you know of, has happened yet. Do you see how your actions can cause other people to feel?"
"Look I didn't come here to be insulted!"
"I'm not trying to insult you. I just want you to realize that you say you don't care about how you made someone feel but you wouldn't like it happening to you"
"This is all very out of context, ok?! I'm done talking with you though, I'm not saying anything else!" Azula yelled as she sat back in the chair and crossed her arms.
"Azula I'm trying to understand you better. We need to talk about some stuff that might seem like I'm willingly going against you but that isn't the case, ok?"
Azula simply shrugged and didn't say anything.
"We have around 10 minutes left, what do you want to talk about?"
Azula just shook her head and still didn't speak.
"Ok then... well I can't force you to talk so I guess we'll just sit in silence until the session is over..."

Just as she said, they didn't say a word to each other for the remainder of the time.

Ozai arrived to pick up Azula. He saw her sitting in the waiting room completely unamused.

"Hey, how did it go?" He said
"Terrible. Oh and she wants to speak to you. I'm gonna wait in the car" Azula said as she got up and left.

Ozai walked into the office and sat down with the woman.
"Hello sir, I'm Dr. Smith. Look, I can't reveal exactly what we talked about but there are some stuff I needed to tell you about your daughter"
"Go ahead"
"First of all, she's a very angry person. She got upset at me multiple times through the session and yelled a lot. She also refused to speak for the last 10 minutes"
"Oh god... I'm sorry about that"
"It's ok, I'm not condemning her. On top of that I realized that she doesn't think anything she does is wrong. She doesn't care at all about other people and completely lacks any empathy. When I made a remark that made her realize how she could've hurt someone she completely flipped out on me and got mad at me. She doesn't want to accept that some decisions she makes are wrong and hurt people"
"Yeah I've realized... is there some sort of like diagnosis?"
"It's too early but I have some suspicions. If she accepts, I'd like to talk to her again"
"Um yeah, I'll try to get her back. I really just want what's best for her. Oh but um did you talk about her situation with her mother?"
"No we didn't. Why, is there something wrong?"
"Um yeah, they really don't get along... like at all"
"Ok well I'll try to bring it up if I see her again"
"Great, thank you for your time and I'm sorry about how she acted"
"It's ok, you don't have to worry. Have a nice day"

Ozai exits her office and joins Azula in the car.
"You're coming back next week" he said
"What?! I don't want to!"
"Too bad. Just be more open to the idea"
"Ughhhhhh! Last time I swear!"
