Sokka got to school the next day and Azula was already at their locker. He didn't talk to her yesterday... maybe he should've.

"Um hey Azula"
"Hi"
"Are you ok? You seemed really upset Tuesday after school..."
"Yeah well a lot of shit happened, ok?"
"Ok... I didn't see you in class yesterday"
"Cause I had in school suspension, and I have it for the rest of the week"
"Oh... um but why were you mad at me?"
"Because of Yue! Do you seriously not see that she likes you?!"
"She said she didn't and she just thinks of me as a friend"
"Oh wow I'm so convinced. Whatever, you must think I'm a hypocrite anyways for being concerned about you talking to other girls, huh?"
"What? No, I didn't say that... but she's really just my friend, I promise"
"Yeah whatever Sokka. You know maybe this wasn't a good idea"
"What are you talking about?"
"This, us. The fact that we got together because you cheated on someone with me just causes too many problems"
"What? No it doesn't Azula, I swear. Let's just talk about this after school or something, ok?"
"I can't, I'm grounded until further notice from my parents"
"Well we'll talk on the phone"
"My phone is broken"
"Azula come on please. Don't do this, we just need to talk"
"Trust me Sokka, I don't want to do this either. I'm basically proving all these girls right by just breaking up with you"
"Wait that's what you're concerned about? You're worried about breaking up with me because of what those stupid girls will think and not because you love me?" Sokka felt his heart breaking. Does she really not care about him?
"Sokka I can't talk about this right now, I need to go to the office"
"Azula, don't be like this..."
"I have to go..."

It pained her just as much as it did him. Truth is, Sokka is one of the only people that can make her genuinely smile, especially after everything going on in her life. She loved him so much but he deserves someone better than her. Someone with less problems and who's less hated by literally everyone.

She headed to the office, more upset than usual and with a heavy heart.

Sokka couldn't believe what happened. She couldn't have broken up with him... no, she wasn't clear about it, there's still a chance! He has to win her back before it's too late. He knows she's going through a lot right now and he should've been there for her.

"Sokka are you ok? You seem upset" Yue said when she saw him.
"Oh really? Well I'm fine. Although we can't work on our project tonight, I have something to do"
"What?"
"Something personal, ok?"
"Ok... it's fine, don't worry about it"
"Sorry if I seem angry at you, I'm not... just that something happened"
"It's ok"

"It must be Azula" thought Yue. She must've said something to him and he's on edge around me now. God she's so annoying!

"Ok cool. We can always work on the project at lunch"
"Yeah ok, thats fine"

School had ended. Sokka jumped off the bus and started sprinting towards Azula's house. He didn't want to accept them having to break up, he couldn't. He ran up to her house and rang the doorbell.

"Sokka? What are you doing here?" Asked Ozai, who answered the door.
"Im here to speak to Azula"
"She's grounded, she can't have people over"
"It's really urgent sir, please!"
"Ok then... 5 minutes and no funny business"
"Yes, thank you sir" Sokka said as he went in her house and ran up to her room.

"Sokka what are you doing here?!" Azula exclaimed.
Sokka didn't say anything, instead he went to her and hugged her tightly.
"I'm sorry for anything I've done Azula. Just talk to me please, I don't want to lose you"
"You don't deserve me Sokka..."
"What?! Of course I do! Don't say stuff like that"
"It's true. I have so much shit going on right now..."
"So? I'm there for you always because I love you and I care about you" he says as he gives her a kiss on the head.
"You're the sweetest person alive Sokka. Can I tell you something?"
"Anything"
"Yesterday after school I actually saw a psychiatrist... my parents forced me to, I didn't want"
"Oh well it isn't a bad thing you know. Are you gonna keep going?"
"Yeah my dad booked me again for next week. It didn't even help!"
"Just be open to it and listen to what the person has to say, it'll help"
"Hm, I guess so... thank you Sokka"
"No problem. So we're not breaking up?"
"No no" she said with a smile.
"Wonderful" he smiles back and kisses her.
"I love you Sokka"
"I love you too"

"5 minutes is over! Let's go Sokka!" Ozai yelled from downstairs.
"Ok I have to go now. Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow"
"Maybe during lunch. Bye now Sokka"
"Bye Azula"
