I've always hated you

Detention

Azula made her way to the detention classroom after school. Suki, Yue and the monitor were already there.
"Nice of you to join us Azula, you're late" says the monitor. He knew Azula well by now because of how many detentions she's gotten over the years.
"I'm only 5 minutes late" says Azula as she sits down at a desk.
"You're still late. Anyways, just do your homework, ok?"
"I don't have any"
"How about you just shut your mouth instead?" Says Suki
"Oh shut up" retorts Azula
"Girls stop it now. Azula if you have no work then you're just going to sit at your desk for an hour and do nothing"
"Fine" Azula says and just sits back in her chair.

It's been about 20 minutes and so far quiet, until the monitor got up from the desk.
"Shoot, I realized I forgot something in my car. Girls just be good while I go get it" he says and then gets up and leaves. The two girls see him leaving as a golden opportunity.

"Azula I'm genuinely wondering, how did you get Sokka to forgive you? I mean you were acting ridiculous" says Yue
"Ok it's really none of your business, don't talk to me" replies Azula, calmly.
"You must've done some sort of sexual favour, right?"
"No I didn't. Actually, we didn't do anything of the sort after we made up, ok? You know nothing about my life and my relationship with Sokka"
"Well I mean you got with Sokka thanks to sexual favours" adds Suki
"Ok you, shut up too, I slept with him before he was in a relationship with you. We had history before you"
"Yeah and you almost slept with him while he was with me. I know Sokka, he's a sweet guy, it's you that did something"
"Ok Suki I'm done talking about this, it happened months ago. You can continue sulking if you want but I'm done"
"Ok Azula, you're the biggest bitch on the planet. You care about nobody but yourself and act so entitled"

Azula didn't even respond, she just shrugged.
"Now you're acting like you're better than us!" Yells Suki
"Just leave me alone, I'm so sick of you"
"No! I won't leave you alone because you didn't leave my boyfriend alone!" Suki says and gets up from her chair and goes over to Azula.
"Get away from me"
"No I won't get away from you!" Suki says and kicks her chair.
"Oh my god, stop. Look, I'm not going to fight you. I'm trying not to be like that anymore"
"Be like what? A bitch?"
"Yes, I'm trying to be less of a bitch. Clearly you guys are trying to be more like one"
"Azula you have to understand that someone like you will never not be a bitch."
"Ok, I don't really care about your assessment of me"
"Ok if you're trying to be less of a bitch or whatever, apologize to me for what you did"
"No, I only apologize to people who deserve it"
"You don't think I deserve an apology? You screwed my boyfriend"
"Yes, and that's something I will never do again. You can go away now"
"You think you're so fucking above everyone else. Everyone is still going to hate you"
"I don't care what people think of me, I'm doing this myself. I don't care what you think"
"Oh yeah? Then let's see if you care about this"

The monitor walked back into the class. "I'm back- Hey! What are you doing?!" He yells after seeing Suki slap Azula across the face.

"I can't believe those stupid girls" says Ursa as she's driving Azula home from detention.
"Yeah well now Suki is suspended for a day so at least there's that" says Azula
"Why do they keep bothering you?"
"I don't know mom, they're holding a grudge against me. Well really only Suki has a valid reason to hold a grudge, I don't know why Yue is pissy all the time"
"It's because they have nothing better to do"
"Whatever, she's in more trouble now and not me"
"Yes, exactly. I'm very happy that you didn't retaliate. It would've just made things worse"
"Yeah, I really wanted to retaliate but I didn't"
"And I'm very proud of you for that. You're definitely doing better controlling your emotions and your anger"
"Yeah I'm trying"
"You're doing very well. Those girls must be very aggravating and you did well to not let them get under you skin"
"Thanks mom"
"Keep it up, you've improved so much"
"Yeah I'm trying my best"
"Good. It didn't hurt too much though right?"
"No, she hits like a little bitch"
"Language. But I'm glad it didn't hurt" Ursa says and smiles.

They've been getting along so much better and they both love how their relationship got better. They can talk together, laugh together and do other things together that they never really used to do. Just like Azula's behaviour and attitude, her relationship with her mother was getting a lot better.
