Sneaking out

Azula had been in her room for the next few hours. She didn't even leave to get food. She just wanted to get away for a bit. School has ended by now so she decided to call Sokka.

"Hey Azula, what's up?" Sokka says as he answers the phone.
"Well I'm definitely not doing good. I mean you saw what happened in English class"
"Yeah that was crazy. What happened after?"
"Well we go to the principal and he asked why we got into a fight and Suki screamed how I had sex with her boyfriend so then the principal said it was too personal for him to deal with so he called our parents"
"Dang, what happened when they got there?"
"Well Suki was pissed at me, her parents were pissed at me and my parents were pissed at me, so I was like getting the most shit"
"Really? Suki's parents weren't mad at her for starting a fight"
"No, their perfect little girl didn't do anything wrong and I'm the villain"
"Well she should've been mad at me, not you. Ultimately it was me that made the big mistake..."
"Don't worry about it Sokka, whatever's done is done. But hey um... can I come over? I don't really want to be home right now..."
"Oh yeah um sure. My dad and sister are home though"
"It's ok"
"Ok then you can come. But uh how will you get here?"
"I'll call an Uber or whatever, just text me your address"
"Ok, see you soon"
"Yeah bye" Azula says as she hangs up.

Azula got up and started thinking on how she could leave. She obviously didn't want her parents knowing because they wouldn't allow her. She figured to leave from one of the doors that lead into the backyard and leave from there since she had the least amount of chance being caught from there. She called an Uber and 5 minutes later got a notification that he was there. She quietly and successfully made her way out of the house and was on her way to Sokka's.

After his phone call with Azula, Sokka went downstairs to find Hakoda.
"Hey dad, I'm having Azula over. I told her it was ok..." Sokka told him
"Wait, Azula? How come you're having her over?" Hakoda questioned
"Um really long story but we're ok now"

Suddenly Katara came from the kitchen to speak
"Sokka what's wrong with you?! I heard about what you did to Suki!" She yelled
"What happened with Suki? You never told me why you guys broke up" said Hakoda
"Yeah because Sokka cheated on her with Azula!" Said Katara
"Sokka you did what?! Did I raise you to cheat on girls?!"
"No, it was a mistake, I know. I felt super bad and apologized to her a lot but she's obviously very mad at me..." said Sokka
"You're an idiot sometimes Sokka! And why is the girl you were disloyal with coming over?"
"Um something happened and she wants to come over..."
"Wait Sokka you're having Azula over?! I don't want her here!" Says Katara
"Too bad, she's already coming. And by the way, she's nicer than you think"
"No she isn't! Suki told me what happened today at school and in the office and she sounds like a bitch to me!"
"You don't know her"
"What? Is she your girlfriend now or something?"
"Umm... I don't know honestly"
"Oh my god you're ridiculous!"
"Ok guys stop arguing. Azula can come over but not for too long. Katara just stay away from her, I don't want any fighting"
"Fine" says Katara

Sokka hears the doorbell ring and goes to answer and sees it's Azula.
"Hey Azula, come in" he says as he greets her.
"Thanks for letting me come over Sokka" she says as she walks in.
"No problem. Let's go up to my room and we can talk about what happened if you want"
"Yeah that sounds good" she says as they walk up to his room.

His room was definitely much smaller than hers but it had a cozy feeling to it. He sat on the bed and tapped the spot next to him.
"Come sit and let's talk" he said to her
She nodded and sat next to him.

They sat down and talked about the whole situation for a while. She loved how understanding Sokka is and also how good of a listener he is. She heard her phone ring and buzz a few times but decided to ignore it.

Ozai walked up to Azula's room and knocked on her bedroom door without walking in yet.
"Azula can we finish talking? Things got very heated before and everyone had a chance to calm down now. I'd like to finish our conversation and also make sure that you're ok" Ozai said, not knowing that she wasn't there.
"Azula? Answer me". After more silence he decided to open her door and saw that she wasn't there. "Azula? Are you here?". When there was no response he knew that she wasn't there for sure.

He went downstairs to where Ursa is.
"She's not in her room" he tells her.
"She's not? Then where is she?" Ursa responds
"Well I don't know, I'm going to check the rest of the house" he said as he started looking around.

He didn't find her anywhere so he came to the conclusion that she wasn't there anymore. He went up to Zuko's room to see if he knew anything.
"Zuko, do you know where your sister is?" He asked him.
"No, she's probably in her room" he said
"She isn't here, she's out somewhere and she isn't answering her phone. Do you know where she might be?"
"Um maybe at Mai's or Ty lee's? I could call them and see if she's there"
"Yes, do that and tell me what they say"

Zuko calls Mai and Ty lee and they both say that she isn't there.
"Well then where is she?" Ozai says
"I don't know dad. I mean I have another possible idea but I don't know..."
"Where?"
"She could possibly be at Sokka's house but I'm not too sure about it..."
"Sokka's house? Why would she be there?"
"I don't know, she's involved with him and stuff I guess..."
"Well it's worth a try, call him"

Zuko called Sokka but he didn't pick up.
"He's not answering" Zuko says
"She must be there then", Ozai says, "Where does this boy live?"
"I'll give you his address? Are you gonna drive over there or something?"
"Yes, I'm going to get Azula. I can't believe she did this"
"It's Azula, what do you expect"
"I don't even know anymore. Anyways, I'm going now" Ozai said as he left Zuko's room and went out to get Azula.
