Epilogue

Sokka stood at the alter tearing up as he was watching his bride getting walked down the aisle by her father. He couldn't believe he was finally marrying the love of his life after being with her for five years. She finally reached him at the alter.

"Take good care of her" says Ozai as he lets go of Azula's arm so she can stand in front of Sokka.
"Of course sir" Sokka responds. "You look so beautiful Azula" he then says to her when she stands in front of him.
"And you look extremely handsome" she says to him.
Then the officiator started the ceremony. The entire time, none of them were able to stop smiling and tearing up. They were both so happy to marry each other. They proceeded with the ceremony until they finally reached the part where they had to reach each their vows. Azula went first.

"Sokka, I'm so happy to be standing here with you today. 5 years ago, if someone told me I'd be marrying you I would've told them they were crazy and would've most probably yelled at them. We have a very complicated history but in the end everything turned out perfectly. You really made me a better person and helped me improved myself. I've never been so happier my entire life than I am right now. I'm finally getting to marry my best friend in the entire world and I just feel over the moon. Sokka, I love you so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you"

Sokka almost started crying after hearing her words. They made his heart fill with joy and he wanted to make her feel the same after she heard his vows.

"Azula, words can't express how overjoyed I am to be standing here with you right now. Like you said, 5 years ago I also wouldn't believe that you would be my future wife. We definitely weren't fans of each other back then, but right now I feel like I couldn't have asked for a better partner. You're kind, compassionate and truly the most gorgeous girl on the planet. I still don't know how I managed to get you, you're so perfect in every way. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us and I'm sure whatever it is, it'll be great. You're the love of my life and I can't wait to start a family with you and grow old together"

Azula also had to suppress tears after hearing his speech. The officiator continued with the ceremony and finally got to the most important part.
"Sokka, do you take Azula to be your lawfully wedded wife? Will you love her and take care of her until death do you part?" He said to Sokka.
"I do" said Sokka
"And Azula, do you take Sokka to be your lawfully wedded husband? Will you love him and take care of him until death do you part?" He then said to Azula
"I do" she said.
"Then, with the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride"
Sokka leaned in and kissed her with a big smile on his face as he did. All the guests cheered for them. They then broke apart and Sokka grabbed her hand and started walking down the aisle with her.

They both felt so excited to starts this new chapter of their lives and they couldn't wait to see what the future had in store in for them.
