The same day after the argument with Sokka, Azula had a therapy session. She walked into Dr. Smith's office looking pretty down.

"Azula, are you ok?" Dr. Smith asked her
"No I'm not ok. I've had one of the shittiest weeks of my life"
"How come?"
"Well it started because that Yue girl gave Sokka a bracelet and then I got into a fight with her and Suki, which led to a fight with my mom and then a fight with Sokka. We just got into a huge argument today and well... I don't know we'll be able to come back from it"
"Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that. So Yue sparked this argument?"
"Yes. She gave him this stupid little bracelet for Sokka's birthday because she likes him and I told him countless times that she does, but he refused to take it off. I even threatened not to talk to him until he takes it off but he still hasn't. I guess he'd rather be friends with her than talk to me"
"And that caused you guys to fight?"
"Yeah... and of course, just like everyone else, he told me to calm down. I hate when people tell me that. They think it helps me when they tell me to calm down or to just breathe but it makes it worse. I've been trying so hard to control my anger and it's so difficult and hearing people telling me stuff like that just makes it so much worse. It's like I've been making no progress,.."
"No no, don't say that. I see the progress you've been making. Just take it step by step. I understand your frustration when you hear people telling you stuff like that. I can imagine how hard it must be for you. Progress isn't made instantly, it's gradual. You're so different from when I first met you and I'm really proud of you for how you've been doing. Just keep it up"
"Really?" Azula said, feeling really happy after her therapist said she was proud of her for the progress she made. She hasn't heard those words in a while and it really lightened up her mood for the first time today.
"Yes really. You're doing amazing. Now, let's talk about what happened with your boyfriend a little more" she said before they carried on talking about Sokka amongst other things.

It's now been about a week since Sokka and Azula have spoken to each other, they barely even know if they're still together. They're both still pretty upset about their argument but also slightly saddened by the fact that they've been so distant from each other.

That weekend, Yue invited Sokka over to hang out and to talk about things. She's seen how upset Sokka has been over Azula, she hopes she can comfort him and get even closer to him.

"Hi Sokka" she says as he walks into her house.
"Hey Yue, how are you?"
"I'm doing good. What about you? Still sulking over Azula"
"I guess you could say that... it's been like a week since we've spoken"
"Really, nothing? Not even like a text?"
"Not even... I don't even know if we're technically still together"
"That really sucks Sokka, I'm sorry"
"Yeah it's ok I guess"
"No it isn't ok. She's treating you like absolute garbage over something so stupid. You deserve so much better"
"I don't know, maybe I'm also in the wrong"
"No you're not, don't say that. She's manipulating you into thinking you're wrong so then you go apologize to her first. You did nothing wrong, you're the one that deserves an apology"
"I don't know..."
"Sokka how did you even fall for her? You're so sweet and deserve the best, how did you end up going for someone like her?"
"She's nice, she does nice things too"
"Well maybe in the start, now she's showing her true colours again. I mean there's a reason you used to hate her, right"
"Well she also hated me"
"She probably only hated you because you were the only one that called her out on her shit. You stuck up for the people she used to put down because you're a good guy. You deserve so much better than her Sokka, so much better..." Yue says as she starts leaning in.
"What are you doing?" Sokka says as he puts his hand on her shoulders to stop her.
"Well what does it look like?"
"Yue no, I'm with Azula"
"Come on Sokka, I would treat you so much better than her. I mean she basically dumped you by giving you the silent treatment all week" she says and starts leaning in again.
"Oh my god", Sokka says and moves away, "She was right about you... I'm such an idiot"
"Don't say that, come on"
"No no, she was completely right... god, I'm so stupid honestly. Fuck, I have to go"
"What?"
"I have to go make things right with Azula before it's too late" Sokka says and he finally takes off his gift from Yue and leaves her house.

He ran to the bus stop and impatiently waited for it to arrive. He took it all the way to Azula's house and once again, ran to her house.

He rang her doorbell the door was answered by Ozai, who didn't look happy to see Sokka.

"You" Ozai said in an angry tone
"Sir, I really need to talk to Azula"
"Oh really? Do you know how much pain you've caused her this past week?"
"I can imagine... that's why I really need to speak with her, I want to make things right"
"Fine, you can go ahead, but if you don't make things right with her, I'll send you home with a few broken bones. Understood?"
"Yes sir, understood. I promise to make things better" Sokka said and then ran up to Azula's room.

"Azula! Oh Azula I'm so sorry" he said as he went up to her and hugged her really tightly.
"What?" Azula replied, slighting confused and shocked at his sudden appearance.
"I'm such an idiot, you were so right about her, about Yue"
"What happened?"
"I was at her house and we were talking about you and she kept saying how I deserved better and then she tried kissing me"
"What?"
"Yeah but I promise I did nothing! You were so right about her liking me and I'm sure she was trying to break us up. I'm such an idiot for falling for her tricks and not seeing through all of it. I can't believe I almost ruined our whole relationship" he said and hugged her even tighter, "We're not broken up right?"
"No no... but you finally realized?"
"Yes and I feel so stupid. I should've listened to you, I don't know why I didn't. I won't ever talk to her again. I'm so sorry, I was the shittiest boyfriend on the planet"
"It's ok, I was terrible too. I was insulting you and saying mean things to you"
"No no, you were 100% right for doing that. I was stupid, a big fat idiot. I almost lost you because I was being dumb. Do you know how much I missed you during this week?"
"Yeah, I missed you"
"I promise I'll always listen and hear you out from now on. Do you forgive me?"
"Yes, I forgive you" she said and finally wrapped her arms around him to hug him back.
"I'm so glad. I won't ever be stupid again. I love you" he says and kisses the side of her head.
"I love you too, and I won't call you mean names anymore"
"It's ok, I'm just happy we're on good terms again. I hate fighting with you"
"Me too, I'm glad we got past it"
"It's because we're strong and we're good together"
Azula nods in agreement and hugs him tighter.

"Azula! Let's go, you have therapy! I'm driving you!" They hear Ursa well from downstairs.

"Fuck, I forgot... sorry, I have to go" Azula says
"That's ok, let's go downstairs" Sokka says and they make their way downstairs together, holding hands.

"Huh, since when has he been here? Anyways, doesn't matter, let's go or we'll be late" Ursa says.
"Yeah yeah, I know" Azula says and walks out of the house with Ursa, Sokka also leaving.

"Bye Sokka" Azula says as she gets in the car.
"Bye Azula, have a great session"

Azula left and was very happy for the first time this whole week. She couldn't wait to tell Dr. Smith about how her and Sokka made up. Little did she know, they weren't going to talk about Sokka at all that session.
