"How could you choose him?"
"Because he was the only person who ever chose me"

Overnight, whatever fears and anxiety Brooke had been having about a second original being present vanished when she got to know Rebekah. The other blonde was undoubtedly a bitch, but it was so nice to finally have another girl to talk to, and she did love watching her put Klaus in his place.
The boys, on the other hand, were not so pleased by this new little friendship they had forged because finally Brooke had someone else to back her up, which meant Klaus could no longer bulldoze over her ideas or thoughts.
Consequently, they were now in an empty boutique they had taken over because the two girls wanted to try on clothing.
Rebekah had been asleep for the last 90 years and had missed out on so many fashion trends, while Brooke was just desperate to get a new change of clothes.
The only way Klaus and Stefan could enjoy this was with alcohol, so they had compelled the saleswoman to give them all of the champagne that the boutique had, and were sipping on their third bottle while Rebekah and Brooke continued to try on new clothing.
Brooke was also having a little too much fun introducing Rebekah to 21st century clothing.
"There has to be more to this dress" the original whined from her changing room
Brooke giggled, zipping up her own skirt. "There's not" she called back
Then, as if rehearsed, the two blondes exited their dressing rooms at the same time and Klaus had to stifle a laugh at the difference between how comfortable they looked. Rebekah's dress was basically just a knitted mesh coverup, which barely covered her ass, and made her grimace at herself in the mirror.
Meanwhile, Brooke donned a short black leather skater skirt, knee high denim boots, and a black long-sleeve crop top.
"So women in the 21st century dress like prostitutes, then." commented Rebekah, trying to pull her dress down as much as she could.
Brooke laughed, flipping her blonde hair behind her shoulders. "Get used to it"
From behind them, Klaus said "I don't think Brooklyn here looks like a prostitute, in fact-"
"-I'm still just here for Elijah" she said quickly, cutting him off before any dirty joke could come from his mouth
Rebekah rolled her eyes at the pair. "You know, I got dirty looks for wearing trousers"
Her brother shrugged "You wore trousers so women today could wear nothing. Which I don't mind seeing Brooklyn in-"
"-Shut it" Brooke sighed
"And what is this music?" asked Rebekah "It sounds like a cable car accident"
Stefan huffed "It's dance music"
She frowned "People dance to this?"
He nodded "Hmm"
Klaus had now finished his glass of champagne, and stiffly asked "Are we done?"
