"Enter." The door to Aemond's chambers was opened by Helaena. It was nearly midday, and he had assumed she would be at tea with Valyria by then.

"Brother, have you seen Valyria? I cannot find her. Or Aegon." Aemond looked up from his history book at his brother's name. If they were both gone, then something was assuredly wrong.

"Have you checked their chambers?" She hesitated. "I checked Aegon's, but not Valyria's..." Aemond stood from his bed immediately and charged out of the room. He knocked on Valyria's door, but she didn't answer the door.

"Yes?" Aegon asked, yawning. The pure rage that went through Aemond was about to come out when Helaena exploded for him.

"You! Did you...did you defile her?" She hissed, lowering her voice. Aegon rolled his eyes as if the notion was absurd, but it really wasn't.

"Aegon," Aemond said warningly.

"Gods, no! You thought that of me?" The two siblings nodded. Aegon looked hurt, then nodded his head behind him.

"We were up late last night, and she's very tired. Mentally and physically." All three of them were quiet. Though Aegon had said that nothing untoward had happened, that sentence indicated otherwise.

"Aegon, what did you do?" Helaena hissed. He sighed. "Her hand shook too much to hold a teacup, so she spent hours with me trying to perfect it. We did, finally, but I was overtaken by sleep. Is that a good enough answer?"

Valyria woke up and heard voices. She looked outside the window and winced. She was to see Helaena by then, and she was just then waking up. She quickly put on a dark blue dress and brushed her hair, simply braiding it over her shoulder.

She walked to Aegon, who grinned. "See? She's fine!" Valyria frowned, confused, then she saw Aemond and Helaena.

"Oh, thank the Gods," Helaena muttered. She had not seen this.

"Pardon?" Valyria asked. Aegon smirked at Aemond. "They thought I had defiled you." She snorted, then saw the serious expressions on their faces.

"Oh, no! No, nothing of the sort. I was practicing holding a teacup." Aemond raised a brow. "Why didn't you come to me?" That made Aegon frown deeply. "Why would she go to you instead of her betrothed?"

Aemond ignored him and trained his eyes on Valyria, who looked tense.

Helaena saw this as well and took the opportunity to whisk her away.

"It is time for our afternoon engagement. Good day, brothers." They walked with their arms intertwined, and Helaena held Valyria close. She wished to get to know her soon-to-be sister-by-law.
