Valyria walked behind Aegon and Aemond as they were led by Cole into the woods. They had walked away from the other hunters, electing to search deeper to the west of the forest.

There was a rustling sound, and Cole held his hand up. Aegon held his spear eagerly, ready to kill. He wanted to be the one to bring a stag's head back and impress everyone.

And not just any stag head—a white stag. Aemond would not steal his moment away from him this time, no, this time he would be the star, and he would adore it.

But, all that came from the bush was a small hare, bounding past their feet. As Aemond watched it pass, he caught a glimpse of Valyria. She looked sad as she stared at her feet, not even glancing at the animal.

He shook it off and looked ahead. While he cared, he would need to be on the lookout for the stag. He did not particularly care for killing it, but he knew that it would bring him great recognition.

"Listen, princes. The stag is quick and has superb hearing. If we hope to kill it, we must not be heard." Valyria thought of a smart-aleck quip to that but held her tongue.

She knew that she was only lashing out because she was upset, but that was no reason for her to place that burden on others. She accidentally stepped on a twig, and it made a loud crunching noise.

She heard Aegon groan slightly and flushed. Her hand was securely by her waist, but it still shook anxiously with great vigor. She was more careful as she walked slowly.

So slowly, that they were beginning to go on without her. She came to a full stop and watched as they walked away into the distance. Finally, when she could no longer see them, she went North. She didn't know why, but she did.

She watched as the sun began to set, and she almost thought it funny how they didn't even notice her absence. They would be going back to camp now, then pick up the hunt tomorrow. They most likely wouldn't even notice when they got there.

At least, that was what she thought.

Viserys sat at a long table with Alicent on one side and Otto on the other. He watched as Cole, Aegon, and Aemond walked to them.

"Caught nothing?" Alicent asked, just grateful that they weren't injured.

"Unfortunately, Your Grace. Hopefully, we will have better luck tomorrow," Cole said, slightly begrudgingly. Helaena, who sat beside her mother, was more perceptive than the others and instantly noticed that something was off about the three hunters.

Three?

Valyria.

"Where's Valyria?" Helaena blurted out as she stood. It was dark, the moon shining, and all the light came from torches set up around the camp. There were boars, stags, and dozens of other creatures who would do her harm. If Valyria was alone...
