Valyria was almost impressed by herself. For three days, she managed to successfully avoid the two brothers. She took all of her meals in her chambers, and she only left when she was sure they were in lessons.

Unfortunately, she was not so lucky today.

She had also decided to begin wearing her Mother's colors. She was a Black, not a Green, and she would make sure that all knew it.

She wore a black dress that had long sleeves and had small straps that went over her shoulder. She had a dark red corset over it that had a flowing fabric that went over the black dress. And she wore her hair fully down, only brushing it.

She looked like Rhaenyra.

She walked into the halls when she had assumed they were at their lessons. She was going to the gardens, where she was meeting Helaena for a late midday meal. But she heard footsteps behind her.

She turned her head slightly and saw no one. She ignored the occurrence and went to the gardens. She stopped briefly at a patch of bright purple flowers and smiled at them.

She went to the pavilion, but it was not just Helaena who sat there. It was her brothers as well.

Aegon and Aemond had never hated each other more, but they were just grateful that they finally saw the princess, who had been hiding from them.

Valyria kept her eyes on Helaena as she curtseyed. "Helaena, I assumed that only we would be in attendance today." She shook her head. "No, Aegon and Aemond just stumbled on me out here and decided to join us. Isn't that nice?"

Her face told Valyria that they had stayed without her permission, there was not much she could do, and she was sorry.

Valyria simply sat beside Helaena, with Aegon and Aemond across from them.

"When will your family join us, Niece?" Helaena asked. Valyria thought about it, then nodded to herself. "In three days time, I should think. I received a letter from Daemon yesterday."

She nodded, and then Helaena glanced at her brothers, who were both shamelessly staring at Valyria.

"Will you be returning with them?" That got the princes' attention. They didn't like what Helaena was insinuating.

"No, I don't believe so. Unless Mother says so." Helaena nodded, and all it took was once glance at the prince's to make Valyria realize why she asked that question. She was trying to rile them up.
