It had been ten days since Valyria's wedding to Aegon and she had been engaging in marital activities more than she had been eating at this point. Helaena had finally gotten back from Winterfell with good news—Cregan Stark had pledged 2000 greybeards to fight in exchange for Helaena's hand in marriage as soon as the war was finished.

During those ten days, Valyria had also moved chambers, and she now resided with Aegon in Viserys' apartment. Since Aegon didn't wish for his own apartments, the Queen's chambers were inhabited by Helaena, and Alicent was moved to Rhaenyra's previous chambers.

Valyria wanted Helaena close.

Whenever Valyria wasn't hearing petitions and attending numerous Small Council meetings, she was either in her chambers with Aegon or spending secret nights with Aemond.

Luke was still "held hostage" but he had been moved to Valyria's old chambers, which were beside Aemond's. She made sure that he was never harmed, but they were actively figuring out what to do next.

Unfortunately, the Blacks had assumed that Aemond killed Luke along with his dragon, and he was being called Kinslayer. But the Greens were quick to combat that, sending ravens into the kingdoms telling them that was false.

Still, that didn't stop Rhaenyra from not believing them, and wanting revenge.

Meanwhile, Ser Arryk watched as Vhagar flew over King's Landing, and atop him was Aemond Targaryen. He had been scouting for Valyria, and he was finally returning.

In the Small Council Meeting, Alicent had finally arrived when the doors opened, and Valyria and Aegon entered. Cole walked behind them, always guarding the queen and her consort.

"Good morrow, My Lords, Alicent," Valyria said as she rounded the table, then sat at the end. Aegon sat beside her, but he was focused on twirling the small orb around its placeholder. Cole placed Valyria's orb in her placeholder, then stepped back.

"What news?" Aegon asked. One hand played with the orb while the other rested on Valyria's knee under the table. She sent him a look while Otto spoke.

"The North is ours after Princess Helaena's marriage pact to Lord Cregan Stark. I anticipate their sworn declaration. The Stormclouds are ours after Lord Borros' agreement to our terms—the marriages of his four daughters. I anticipate their declaration as well. Lady Jeyne Arryn has sworn herself to you, Your Grace, in return for a dragon for protection." Valyria sighed but nodded.

Still, what dragon would she send? Vhagar was needed to protect the city, Sunfyre was her consort's dragon, and Helaena rarely flew Dreamfyre.

"I suppose...we could send Dreamfyre. I'll speak with Helaena," Valyria said, and Otto nodded, while he resumed speaking.
