As I drifted into a deep sleep, a gentle touch roused me, fingers brushing softly through my hair. Blinking away the haze of sleep, I saw Eren, his eyes open.

" Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you". He said, apologetic.

I chuckled, shaking off any remnants of sleep," No worries. I hope I didn't disturb you. You seemed to be having a rough time with your dreams, and I wanted to help".

" It's alright, thank you". Eren replied, his voice reassuring.

Relieved, I asked," How are you feeling ? Any pain ?".

Eren shook his head, a hint of frustration in his expression," Physically, I'm fine. But mentally... I can't shake the feeling that I'm not doing enough. I don't even know how to harness the abilities Annie had as a Titan".

" Hey, don't be so hard on yourself," I said, offering comfort." I'm sure that Annie must have trained for years to master her skills. It's natural that you're still figuring things out. Remember, Hogwarts has seven years for a reason—it takes time to learn and grow. Give yourself that time, Eren. Your health is more important than rushing into battle".

Eren managed a small smile," Thanks. You've always been there for me".

I grinned back," And I always will be. I'll leave you to rest or prepare. Just take care of yourself, okay ?".

As I left Eren's room and returned to the common area, I found Historia alone, setting up for dinner.

" Doing all this by yourself ?". I asked, stepping in to help.

She nodded, a faint smile on her lips," They're all still out".

" I'll lend a hand then". I offered, rolling up my sleeves.

" You don't have to. Especially with your leg". Historia protested.

" I can manage," I insisted, grabbing a potato to peel." Besides, it's nearly healed".

In the quiet of the room, the only sound was the rhythmic slicing of vegetables. Since Ymir's departure, Historia had withdrawn into herself, her silence speaking volumes. I wished I could do more to ease her pain, but some wounds run too deep.

I also really miss Ymir, but I can't imagine what Historia must be going through at the moment.

My thoughts were interrupted by Eren's arrival.

" Shouldn't you be resting ?". I asked, concerned.

" I needed to get out of bed," Eren admitted." But you... are you sure you should be doing this ?".

" I'm fine," I reassured him." Just using my hands".

As we worked together, Historia spoke up, her voice tinged with melancholy," You and the others have such clear goals. But since Ymir left, I don't even know what I want anymore".

" Don't you want to save Ymir ?". Eren interjected.

Historia sighed," Back then, maybe. But now... I've come to accept her choices. She deserves to live her life on her own terms".

" It's natural to want to protect the ones we love," I said gently," but sometimes, the best way to love someone is to respect their decisions. We're here for you, Historia, every step of the way".

For a moment, Historia seemed to thaw, offering a tentative smile.

" Finally, you're talking again". Eren remarked.

Historia shrugged," It's bothersome, that's all. But I have Stella with me. I don't need anyone else".

Though her words were curt, I couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope. She was opening up, even if just a little.
