Estella's POV

The two soldiers stood rigid, fear gripping them as they held their breath, knowing a single wrong move could spell their doom. I observed Levi, who watched the Military Police soldiers with an unwavering gaze.

" Leave your uniforms and all your gear behind. Your boots too". Levi commanded sharply.

" Don't worry about scraping your feet; we have shoes for you". Oluo added, his tone business-like.

With no other choice, the soldiers reluctantly stripped off their uniforms and boots. Armin and Mikasa moved in to bind their hands and feet, while Oluo, Sasha, Draco, and Connie kept a vigilant watch on the surroundings.

" What's next ?". I whispered to Levi, my voice low but urgent.

Levi's eyes flicked to mine, holding my gaze for a moment before replying," We wear their uniforms to get past the guards, then search for any clues about Eren's whereabouts. It's risky, but it's our only option".

" We have to find Eren quickly," I said, my brow furrowed with worry." And Historia too—we can't leave her with them for too long".

Levi nodded solemnly," Time isn't on our side. This gamble could decide everything".

" Captain". Jean called out, breaking the tense silence.

Levi and I turned to see Jean holding two pieces of paper. He handed them to Levi, who scanned them quickly.

" Stohess District Military Police. Private Marlowe Freudenberg and Private Hitch Dreyse, same assignment". Levi read aloud.

" What are we supposed to do with them ?"

" What are we supposed to do with them ?". Draco asked, eyeing the soldiers with contempt.

I narrowed my eyes at Draco, but before I could speak, Hitch burst out, her voice trembling with anger," It's your fault over a hundred people from Stohess District died !".

" Huh ?". Levi responded, his voice cold and indifferent.

" Hey !". Marlowe said, trying to calm Hitch down, but she continued.

" Maybe you think you're bringing justice to humanity, but you sent all those victims and their families straight to hell !". She shouted, her eyes blazing with accusation.

Oluo rolled his eyes, turning away with a dismissive huff," Boring".

" Yeah, I know". Levi said, his tone laced with weariness.

" You guys were in the southern Training Corps, right ? Just like Annie Leonhart". Hitch persisted.

I stiffened at the mention of Annie's name, my teeth gritting as Draco shot me a worried glance.

" Were you friends with her ?" Hitch asked, her voice softer now, almost reflective," No, I doubt she made any friends. She was always so distant, like a child scared to talk to people. I never really knew her. And isn't it because those Titans pulverized her that they still haven't found her body ?".
