Estella's POV

As everything around us crystallized, I didn't hesitate to jump, using my Vertical Maneuvering Equipment to land on Eren's Titan, which had been entirely encased in crystal. I didn't see Eren emerging from the back as he usually did.

Landing near the nape of his Titan, I saw Mikasa arrive swiftly on the opposite side. She immediately began scraping at the crystal with her blade, trying to free Eren. He took a deep breath as he finally broke free, and I quickly grabbed him into my arms.

" Eren... Are you okay ?". I asked, my voice thick with worry.

" Y-yeah...". Eren replied, his voice weary.

With Mikasa's help, we managed to help Eren climb down from his Titan. He sat on the ground, exhausted, while Jean crossed his arms, surveying the area.

I looked up, hearing Sasha descending from above us after Levi had ordered her and Connie to secure an exit.

" We've secured an exit !". Sasha announced, her voice ringing with urgency.

" Good job". Levi replied, his tone clipped but approving.

Sasha smiled as she noticed Eren," Oh... Eren. So they managed to dig you out okay !".

" Thanks to Mikasa". I said, sending a wink towards Mikasa, who smiled softly before looking away.

To our surprise, Sasha then fell to her knees, almost prostrating herself in front of Eren.

" Everyone's safe thanks to you ! But to be honest, that moment when you leaped forward, brawling and running all creepy... I thought, 'It's all over. There's no way this freak can save us.' I was all teary-eyed and sniffling like this, and...". Sasha rambled on.

I couldn't help but sweatdrop," Will you take a breath, Sasha ?".

Sasha chuckled nervously," Ah, sorry".

" Is this...". Eren muttered in astonishment as he looked around the area.

" Yes. It hardened. We cut you out of your Titan, but it hasn't disappeared. I'd say this is pretty big news". Levi chimed in.

I smiled, hope surging within me," That means we can take back Wall Maria."

Eren's eyes widened as he suddenly remembered something," Where's that bottle ?! I've got it ! I happened to drink from this bottle labeled 'Armor,' and when I turned into a Titan...".

" We found Rod Reiss's bag, but...". Historia's voice trailed off.

I stared at what she held in her hand, a piece of fabric that seemed to have burned down.

" Everything else in the bag, along with the other containers that flew out of it, was either crushed or evaporated. There's nothing left". Historia added.

Eren frowned," So it's...".

Levi interrupted him," No... They could still be somewhere. You used whatever was inside that bottle, and your Titan hardened, something you were never able to do before. You supported the roof, kept it from caving in, and protected us from both the heat and the rocks.

Obviously, no one taught you how to do this, yet you created this huge structure in the blink of an eye. It's an absurd thought, but this must be how the walls were made too. In other words, like Estella said, it's now possible to seal the hole in Wall Maria".

Eren stayed stunned, processing the captain's explanation.

" We took the long way, and our path is littered with the corpses of enemies and comrades. We're poor navigators, but we finally made it to our destination". Levi added.
