A/N: Soooo...I know I haven't updated this story in quite a while. It's only because there isn't much content for me to work with since I've caught up to the manga 😩 I promise I'm trying to write another chapter whenever a new one is published
But imma try and occasionally write some special chapters just to remind you that I'm here 😗

Y/n (3) let out some "pew" and "whoosh" sounds as he held two figurines, making them bump one another while also flying over a set of a toy train.
"Y/n!"
The boy perked up and he turned his head to be greeted by the sight of a blonde man who proceeded to crouch on the ground. The man is his father, Sano Makoto.
"I've brought you a souvenir, Y/n. This American hero is very strong and cool!" Makoto grinned, holding up a toy.
Immediately, Y/n dropped his toys and completely turned his body to the man, eyes twinkling.
"Strong..." Y/n muttered in awe.
"Here you go." Makoto chuckled, gently pushing the toy into the boy's hands.
Y/n smiled widely as he began to play with the toy, making it fly around and defeat some 'monsters'.
"I'm home!" A voice was heard.
Y/n ultimately paused his movement, his hand falling to his side as he whipped his head to look back. Just then, a young boy came walking into view, rubbing the back of his head with his eyes shut.
"Shin-nii! Shin-nii!" Y/n said, running over to the boy and jumping onto him.
"Whoa-! Careful, Y/n!" Shinichiro (13) gasped, stumbling a bit as he held the younger boy in a secure grip.
"Papa bought me a new toy! He's an American hero!" Y/n boasted, holding up said toy.
"Really? That's cool~" Shinichiro hummed, his brows raising in amusement.
"Oh? You're back. How was your day?" A voice asked, making the three males turn their heads.
"Ah, it was good, mom." Shinichiro chuckled, although he seemed a bit nervous.
"Hm? Really?" His mom, Sakurako, questioned, raising a brow as she crossed her arms.
"Fine~ You see...I might have failed that test I promised I would pass...." Shinichiro admitted.
"Shinichiro." Sakurako tutted.
While Shinichiro, Sakurako, and Makoto began conversing, Y/n only stared at them owlishly, head turning multiple times when someone else began to speak.
"I'll sign the paper when I get back." Sakurako said, walking towards Shinichiro and taking Y/n into her arms.
"Huh? Where are you going?" Shinichiro blinked.
"Out with a friend. I'll be taking Y/n with me as well." Sakurako replied, smiling down at the younger boy who began to mess with her ponytail.
"Then, can I-"
"No, Shinichiro. You head up to your room and study." Sakurako shook her head.
"But- Dad~ Tell her she's being unfair!" Shinichiro whined.
"Sorry, but I agree. You have to get those grades up. You promised you would in exchange for us buying you a console." Makoto said.
Shinichiro huffed and he turned on his feet, marching out of the room.
"Shin-nii?" Y/n mumbled.
"Don't mind him, Y/n. Now, let's get your shoes on. You want to meet some new friends?" Sakurako asked, heading towards the front door.
