Ch. 48: Grief and Anger

Everyone stands at a standstill shock, bodies completely frozen while Sue cries hard, all of them staring at the lifeless body on the hospital bed.

The sounds of Sue's cries and sobs are piercing through everyone's ears, it being so loud but far away at the same time. She clings and hugs Kendall's body as her sobs takes her breaths away, takes everything out of her, zaps everything out of her.

"No not my baby! Not my baby boy! Not my baby! No!"

Charles's hands go on her shoulders, tears leaving his own eyes. Tracy and Claudia seek refuge by hugging Philip and Caesar, both of the men hugging them back while crying. Jane sobs out while her hand goes over her mouth, Steve and Jonathan looking down with sad expressions, Mike running a hand through his hair in complete stress while Nancy brings her head up to try and blink back the tears that pool in her eyes.

Wayne and Eddie both release their tears, Will sobbing as he puts a hand over his mouth and his other hand leans against the wall, Dustin and Suzie releasing their own cries as well. Holly even puts both hands over her mouth as she cries.

Erica just stares at Kendall's body with teary eyes, seeing how Sue tightly hugs him tightly while crying, Charles trying his best to try and comfort her but he doesn't even know what to do himself. He feels his heart completely shatter, both of them feeling like their worlds have completely fallen down.

The sounds of the cries, the sound of her raging heartbeat becomes faint for her. When she feels all of her energy be drained away from her she falls down on her knees, a lone tear leaving from her eyes.

She can feel hands on her, she can hear faint talking but it sounds so far away, it is at a distance. She doesn't even register nor comprehend anything until she hears loud beeps and the hands on her begin to shake her back and forth, Rita getting down on her knees in front of her.

"Quick you have to leave!" Rita tells her.

"He's entering into arrest as well!" Zayn quickly goes over to Lucas who shakes while his monitor screens beep rapidly.

"No not him too! Not him too!" Sue begins to cry harder.

"You all have to get out! All of us being in here caused to much strain on him! Quickly leave! Go!" Zayn motions.

All of them quickly leave out of the room, only leaving Zayn in the room as well as Sue and Charles and the rest of the doctors.

Viktor goes over to them, him looking around at everyone. "What has happened?"

"One of them didn't make it, and the other one entered into cardiac arrest." Rita explains to him.

"I see." Viktor replies. "Hope all goes well. But when twenty four hour mark has been met you all leave. You all have been here long enough as it is."

Rita rolls her eyes as he walks off, her just sighing out in complete stress.

"This can't be happening! This isn't happening!" Jane cries.

Erica just stands at the end of the room with a hard angered expression written on her face, her fists tensing hard. Her sadness is quickly consumed with just boiling hot rage, even her skin beginning to tingle and become hot.

"Erica?" They try, most of them beginning to come to her while her back is turned towards all of them. "Erica are you—"

"Get out." Erica grits out.

"Erica!"

"GET! OUT!" She booms out hard, her having a bloodshot raging expression in her eyes and in her face as well. "GET OUT! ALL OF YOU FUCKING GET OUT!"
